The Willows care home in Ipswich are looking for an additional Waking night Senior care staff member to work the night shift working between the hours of 7pm to 7am Full-Time to include every other weekend, bank holidays etc
Rate of pay £12.75 per hour
This is NOT a sleep in position
Some responsibilities would include
To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care, in conjunction with Clients. To ensure Clients retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the Care home. To maintain a safe and secure environment for Clients, Staff Members and Visitors.
Some of your additional responsibilities will include:
1) Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Clients, when required, with all aspects of daily living.
2) Administer medication as to the company policy and procedures
3) Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Clients retain their comfort and dignity.
4) Complete, observe & review care planning needs for Clients, and complete written documentation within the care files.
5) Make and change beds, ensuring that rooms are clean and tidy, and commodes are empty, in line with the Care home disposal of waste policy. Ensure the Care home resources are used appropriately.
6) Attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required.
7) Participate in relevant NVQ training to achieve required qualifications.
