Gosh! Two posts in one day! I have just trained to become a Sound Practitioner and as you probably have guessed I am loving it! Music, sounds, rhythms have always been a massive part of my life and also the reason I love the UK so much! After all this country has provided us with so many great artists. I feel that I am coming back to my roots a little bit. Younger I played instruments, piano and drums and also sang in an all girls band back in France. It is rare that you come to my house and not hear the music playing… if you are still reading this post then you will be interested to know that in the coming months I will be conducting sound baths in and around Northamptonshire to complete my training. I would love for people, friends, family to come and support me in this new venture. I promise you that your senses will be wowed and the benefit will leave you to wonder. It will move you that’s for sure. So watch out for this space.

I am always grateful for your feedback. I wouldn’t be doing what I am doing if I didn’t believe in myself but to have the reassurance that what I am offering can make an impact it is so much more rewarding. There is nothing magical about it, your body speaks and I listen. I always knew I had a gift and for me it’s the gift of LoVe 🧡. If you met me you would know that this is who I am. 🙏

Below are the benefits of reflexology but I believe it’s a two way deal. When I am working with a client I give and receive.

𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 in our lives and bodies in every way ... physically, mentally and emotionally!

By applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears, reflexology works to stimulate the nervous system, promoting relaxation and improved circulation. 🧠

Physically, this can help release muscular tension, support normal organ function, and restore balance in the body. 💪 🫁🫀

Mentally, the calming effect of a session may encourage clarity, reduce anxiety, and quiet overactive thought patterns. 🤨

Emotionally, reflexology provides a sense of grounding and inner peace, empowering the receiver to let go of accumulated stress. 🥰

In this way, reflexology supports and enhances overall wellbeing.

Although quiet on the net, I have been busy with work lately. I have my regulars and I have had new clients who found me through the internet and read clients reviews which prompted them to come. I have also started with my new case study for Reproductive Reflexology which I found fascinating. With Reflexology for Fertility, I work through a weekly protocol and also focus on issues related to men and women’s reproductive health . Whether it’s to do with irregular cycles, Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome Endometriosis Hormone Imbalance. I will report on how this works progress over the next few weeks. As always, if you are curious about how reflexology works and you would like to know more book yourself in through my website www.reflexologyisham.co.uk or link 🔗 in bio

Last weekend I was over in Malahide, Irlande 🇮🇪 for three days with a fabulous group of fellow reflexologists (you know who you are) to train with the founder and chair of the Association of Reproductive Reflexology Barbara Scott. An intensive training course combining Part one and two. The course provides an understanding of how reflexology can support natural conception, IVF, hormone balance, and overall reproductive health for both women and men. I am currently re visiting all the notes and handouts provided, to deepen my understanding and knowledge and in preparation for my 2 case studies which will finalise my qualification for the whole course. Who else out there enjoys challenging their self and stretch their knowledge and experience? Oh and whilst I was in Irlande 🇮🇪 we went to see Stereophonics in concert… combining work and pleasure is not a bad thing!!! 📚

Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the principle that all the systems of the body are mapped out in reflex points on various areas of the body.
In my practice I work primarily on tue feet. Stimulation of the nerve endings on these areas helps to open up the natural pathways your body uses to nourish and heal itself.
Textures, like puffy, gritty, or tender, in the reflex points indicate congestion in the corresponding area of the body.
During the treatment a state of deep relaxation is created in the body, interrupting the pattern of stress and bringing balance to the body and its systems where there is imbalance.
Reflexology is a well established holistic therapy which treats the mind and body as a whole to achieve a state of general well-being. This gentle, non invasive therapy aims to encourage the body to tap in to its innate self healing abilities. get in touch If you are curious about how reflexology can help you unwind

Most clients will feel lighter and relaxed after one session. I have reflexology once a month. I never go with a specific aim as I know my reflexologist will know what my body needs intuitively. For me it is like a reset, it’s MY moment of disconnecting from current affairs, my harbour of happiness and peace. My body knows what I need and it will take whatever it requires.

As therapists, we communicate constantly, using all our senses, sending and receiving information with those with whom we come into contact. The feet are a microcosm of the entire body, and that by carefully observing and palpating particular areas, we can pick up on subtle changes that might indicate physical and emotional imbalances.
