** Exciting News**

We haven’t stopped! We have taken on board everyone’s feedback positive and negative after our first ever crazy event!

Problems, issues and failures!

So we now have our very own space!

An actual space of our very own! Still keeping it local so we are in Rural Carrickfergus!

The past two weeks we have had major works started, diggers in, strimmers in hand, we have cleared ground, cleared years of brambles and debris, all in the hope of creating a suitable space for our events!

We have a carpark and toilet facilities as well!!

We will put together some little creative updates as and when we down tools!

For those that wish to trade with us going forward get in touch, we are creating custom trade spaces for individual businesses that want to be involved in our journey!

We have no idea where to start!

We are grateful to every single person that supported our event today! Please note our first big event!!

To say that the last few weeks including today have been a literal whirlwind!

From everything that could go wrong to everything turning out just alright!

We’ve had venue cancellations, let down by suppliers, last minute cancellations, wind that could skin a cat and cause an actual wildfire!

For everyone that bought tickets to the absolutely amazing amazing traders! You guys have been the backbone of our entire event! Undeterred by the elements and like an actual community with nothing but support for each other and positivity all day! We are grateful to each and everyone of you!

We appreciate that things went wrong today and various elements outside of our control, we want to build a community and hold events that people appreciate and want to be part of! To grow and get better and create something for our tribe! That’s our goal!

There are more of us than you think 🧙🏼‍♀️✨🪄🧚

Whilst we are mega mega excited for our Beltane Event, we are extremely grateful to our Venue Host Ford Farm

The farm is a working farm and we are keen to respect the venue. The main entrance to the farm will not be open to visitors and we will be using the Lough Road Entrance for all traffic!

We are also keen to ensure we are respectful to the other businesses in the area that will be operational as normal! We have ample parking onsite so please don’t park on the road or indeed Island Mill Tiles & Flooring or Caldwell's SPAR Islandmagee

One more sleep 🤩🤭

The Vikings have arrived and final preparations are underway ahead of tomorrow’s Beltane Event!

Apologies to ticket winners we are sending out all the tickets this evening and will PM those to make sure they know!

There are a few tickets available at the gate for a number of people that were struggling online!

The weather is set to be bright and dry, what an amazing way to welcome summer in true fashion!

Thank you so so so much for all the support we have had so far we are truly overwhelmed and sincerely grateful!

Our Beltane Event is Dog friendly, we’ve had so many people asking 🤭

Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and they are looked after, including lifting any dog mess! Bins will be provided on site so you can dispose of poo bags.

Please remember our event is being held on a working farm and we remain respectful of that at all times.

The Vikings are coming to Islandmagee!!

Real life Vikings, the raven from the actual show! Demonstrations, armoury, games…

Welcome the summer in true Beltane style with dancing, crafts, fire dancers, food, stalls and loads and loads of family fun!

Join us for the day to celebrate Beltane and the Celtic Traditional welcoming of summer, with Viking Battles and Ancient Rituals & Workshops, Fire Demonstrations and Entertainment, Axe and Spear throwing, Eceltic Market stalls, Food and Drink and much much more!

Family friendly Activities for everyone to enjoy.

Live demonstrations of Viking Battles, Armoury & Weapons.

Birds of Prey including the Raven that featured in the hit TV series Vikings.

Storytelling from Haunted Tours NI learn about local history.

!!!! IMPORTANT UPDATE !!!!

The Beltane Festival of Fire venue has been changed!

Due to the original Venue cancelling on us just 4 weeks to our event we have had to change the venue.

The new venue is now located at Ford Ford, Islandmagee and is 100% confirmed!!

However, this is also a working farm, and we have had to make a few changes, the main change is the event will now be running from 10.00am-6.00pm so starting earlier and finishing earlier. We also can no longer have our Bonfires, but everything else that was planned is still going ahead as normal.

This is actually working more in our favour (everything happens for a reason) as the new location is a more prominent location, close to the community of Islandmagee and Whitehead, close to the train station, has passing traffic and will have increased footfall. 🙌🙌

As the new location is also bigger, we now have increased space for more traders.

For those that are already booked on we will email you all the set up info etc before the end of this week.
