Yoga with Adventure Scilly Yoga classes and in wild spaces in the Isles of Scilly I live and work in the Isles of Scilly with my family. With thanks and love! Bryony # # #

Scilly is a place of real, raw beauty - you get a sense of the changing seasons and nature in all its glory. I love to swim in the sea, run on the trails and catch the sunrise (when I can drag myself out of bed early enough!). I’ve been practising yoga for 17 years - no matter where my focus has been diverted to, yoga is like an anchor for me that always draws me back and feels like coming home. I love how yoga cultivates both a sense of feeling grounded as well as such lightness of being. I always try to make my yoga classes uplifting, joyful & flowing. Living close to the ocean & the elements is incredibly energising; it is wonderful to be immersed in nature. As Adventure Scilly we also offer multi-activity wellbeing breaks and I love doing one-to-one sessions or small group bespoke yoga in wild spaces. Teaching yoga is a privilege and I’m excited that I am still very much on my own yoga journey. Please get in touch if you have any special yoga requests.

Our Story

I live and work in the Isles of Scilly with my family. My interest in yoga initially began with a pregnancy yoga dvd with our son Louis, which led to a more dedicated exploration of yoga in pregnancy with my second child, Amelie. Attending my first yoga class soon after Amelie's birth brought a profound feeling of lightness and wellbeing; I have since been regularly practising yoga. After my wonderful yoga teacher left the islands I dearly missed the opportunity to attend a regular class. Hoping to bring this possibility back to our island home I undertook my 200-hour teacher training with Frog Lotus Yoga International at the stunning Suryalila Retreat Centre in Andalucia, Spain. The Vinyasa style I studied is a joyful & creative flow style, which can be adapted to different levels and tempos. Living close to the ocean & the elements is incredibly uplifting and energising; it is wonderful to be immersed in nature. With a strong desire to bring a similar feeling to others, my husband Nick & I are leading multi-activity adventure holidays incorporating open-water swimming, trail running, mountain-biking and of course yoga. The islands' scattered community dictates that taking a yoga class for me may involve a short boat trip to another island and staying the night, then a boat home early the following day. My yoga journey has been an exciting one so far, I feel it is a true privilege and look forward to further enhancing my knowledge and experience as the years pass.
