A huge congratulations to our Year 9 Elite Netball Squad, who were crowned winners of the County Shield tournament held at Exeter University! 🎉

Competing at such a high level against the best teams in the county is a significant challenge, and our players rose to the occasion with outstanding skill, teamwork, and determination. Bringing the shield back to the College is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work the squad has put in all season. 🌟

Well done to the entire team on this prestigious win!

📚📖 Tall Tales at Crownhill Library 📖📚

✨ It's nearly National Storytelling week!

📕 Crownhill Library is launching Tall Tales this National Storytelling Week.
📙 Tall Tales is an interactive engaging storytelling experience aimed at primary children aged seven to eleven.
📗 We will be reading extracts from your favourite chapter books, meeting new characters, exploring traditional tales and discovering new authors.
📘 Tall Tales will continue on the first Monday of each month

"Stories connect us. When we tell them, we share a piece of ourselves and invite others to do the same.
Folk and fairy tales, myths and legends from around the world carry timeless themes we have in common, while also highlighting what makes each culture unique. At the same time, the everyday stories we share – a funny tale from work, a memory passed down by a grandparent, a family tradition or dramatic life event – are equally powerful in shaping how we connect with others.
National Storytelling Week is a chance to celebrate tales in all their forms, pass them on and enjoy their wisdom and wonder." - https://www.sfs.org.uk/
