Draper Ltd Fire,Security and Electrical tendered and won the contract to upgrade the old fire alarm system to an EMS Radio Fire Alarm System through out the site.Comprising of 3no inter linked control panels and 136 Automatic Detector / sounders and Manual Call Points, to achieve the highest fire detection coverage through out the building. The control of all fire doors within the building is controlled through radio input/output interfaces, for operation of door closure, in Fire and Fault Fire Alarm conditions.
Continual monitoring of the Fire System is controlled through a computerised central monitoring station. 24/7 servicing and Call Out facility is supplied by Draper Ltd Fire.
Fire Certification of the installation is by Bafe SP203-1, with the electrical installation to NICEIC Electrical Installation Certification.The radio signal integrity verification and commissioning was completed by EMS.
