🏡 Unique Senior Care provides outstanding domiciliary care services across the Midlands and live-in care across England 🤝
Unique Senior Care, established over 12 years ago, is a local family-owned provider of tailored domiciliary home care for adults over 18, aiming for independence at home. We provide care from 1 hour a week to 24 hour live in care. Directed by quality-focused owners, we're CQC-regulated and rated ‘Outstanding’. Our service is bespoke, ensuring safety, care, responsiveness, and effectiveness. We hire selectively, requiring candidates to pass the 'Mum Test' for high standards. We offer companionship, household help, and personal care through matched Hourly or Live-In carers. Services are available to NHS-funded, local authority, or self-funded clients, collaborating with families and medical teams for optimal care.

Christmas can feel busy for some and a little quiet for others. A friendly visit, a chat or simply sitting together can make the season feel that bit warmer for an older person 🤗
If you are someone who enjoys bringing comfort to the quieter corners of the day, you might find real meaning in working as a Caregiver..
We have flexible hourly roles and Live in positions available:
💸 Hourly Caregivers are paid from £14 per hour.
💸 Live in Caregivers earn £124 to £142 per day.
Live in applicants will need a year of experience. You'll get award-winning training and full support throughout.
If you're looking for your next meaningful role, we'd love to hear from you ❤️🎄✨
As part of our 12 Days of Christmas Challenge, last week’s task was to decorate the tree 🌲
Our Coventry and Warwickshire Managers made the office feel properly festive and Jayne, our Recruiter based in Spain, even joined in from afar 🧡 🎅

🎄 Thinking about giving back this Christmas?
This time of year is a good reminder of how much the small moments matter. A friendly chat, a cuppa, a hand to hold. These things can mean the world to someone who needs a bit of extra support ☕️💬
If you are looking for a role where you can do something meaningful, we are recruiting for flexible hourly roles and Live-in Caregiver positions. You will have full training and steady support in either role 🌟
Hourly Caregivers do not need previous experience. For Live-in Caregivers, at least one year of care experience is essential. What really matters overall is kindness, patience and the ability to help someone feel safe in their own home ❤️
If you are ready for a role that feels genuinely rewarding, we would love to hear from you. It could be a lovely way to start the season of giving 🎅✨
We had the most lovely day in London earlier this week as we attended the Princess Royal Training Awards ceremony to collect our award for the third time. It’s always a proud moment to see our team’s commitment recognised 🌟
It was so inspiring to be in a room with so many worthy winners, including other care providers who work just as hard to raise standards for the people they support 😊

The Christmas season is officially in full swing 🎄
Zoe, one of our Live-in Caregivers, took her client to the Christmas Tree Festival in Southam. They had a wander round the trees, caught up with a few familiar faces, and enjoyed a cuppa together. What a lovely way to start December! ✨

A cup of tea and a chat can mean a lot when someone’s having a hard time. Linda, our Shift Leader, spent some time with one of the people we support this week, just listening and keeping him company 🫶☕
He’s been dealing with a recent loss and told us how much the steady support from our Extra Care Team is helping him feel safe and cared for 💛

It may be chilly out but that doesn't stop our clients and carers getting out and about! Here’s our Solihull Caregiver Miri enjoying a warm drink and a slice of cake with her client, Val ☕🍰
A cosy café, and a chat over coffee and cake is a lovely way to brighten a cold day 💛

A massive thank you to the first group of our Extra Care Caregivers who joined the session on enhancing communication with clients 😊
They spent time building practical skills that help conversations feel clearer, calmer, and more supportive - especially when someone needs a bit more time or reassurance 💬
It’s the small changes that often make the biggest difference, and it’s lovely to see our team so committed to giving people a thoughtful, respectful experience every day 🌟

We’ve introduced a Learner of the Month award to recognise colleagues who put real effort into developing their skills 🏅
That might be working toward a qualification, practising something new, researching in their own time, shadowing others, or building confidence through regular practice 😊
Our first Learner of the Month is Hannah. She’s completed her Level 3 Higher Development Award, taken on new skills in care coordination, supported care consultations for families, and made steady, thoughtful improvements in how she works.

Unique Senior Care was founded in 2011, by Philip Wright-Howarth and Philip Maundrill. Both have, at some point, been responsible for a loved one in need of care. At Unique Senior Care we therefore have an intimate understanding of what quality care should look like, and the peace of mind this brings to family members, as well as the person being cared for. This has been a key driver throughout the business’ history and continues to underpin all aspects of the work we do.
What makes us Unique?
It is without doubt the people we care for, our staff and the quality of the services we provide. Every member of our team shares the same ethos of putting ‘People, above all else’. We believe that by supporting older people to remain in their own home, we can enable them to live more fulfilling lives, and our care is always tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. Families will have the peace of mind that their loved ones are in excellent hands. As a result, we have built a reputation as a care company that specialises in one thing: people.
Our care is unique and outstanding
Unique Senior Care’s blend of home care is based on providing a service which is the best quality it can be and which meets the needs of both our clients and their families. We are delighted, therefore, that the independent regulator of health and social care in England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), has rated our service in Coventry South as Outstanding.
