Yesterday’s Cacao Ceremony and 3 hour sound immersion was so beautiful to be part of.

I was honored to play with Giles Mountain and Cristina Patel and it was such a joy to play each other’s instruments.

The session started with some energy clearing and people told me how powerful this was for them.

Cristina then led a Cacao Ceremony. Cacao is powerful heart opening medicine.

Then we journeyed into a deep sound experience. Having three players weaves a very special magic with the wash of sound and resonance.

Giles and I played the shamanic drums and I was told by a friend there that they really wanted to get up and dance. The drums speak powerfully to the soul.

It was also a pleasure to have two shruti boxes playing and Giles and I were intuitively over-toning.

I could go on….and on.

It is really good to set intentions before soundbaths and my intention was to send blessings to absent friends ( someone was uppermost in my mind) hoping that they would be receiving the medicine of the deep sound immersion.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped create such a beautiful energy in the room.

I have a soundbath planned for next Sunday 26th at 6pm. I am aware that not everyone can brave the hardcore 3 hour soundbath so have planned this as a regular 1 hour soundbath.

Please let me know if you would like to reserve a place asap.

I have a growing sense of anticipation about the 3.5 hour Cacao Ceremony and sound immersion this Sunday. Giles and Cristina are not just great players but also have deep personal spirituality and it is this that pervades the sound vibrations.
Every soundbath seems to go deeper in some mystical way. The gongs simply astound me as I new surprises emerge.
They also help people to deepen their spiritual journeys whatever paths they choose.
If you are thinking of coming then I would encourage you to take the leap.
We are so looking forward to this very special gathering.

Again for people who are really interested in sound this guy demonstrates a genius feel for percussion. He uses the high hat sparingly but with such creativity.
Playing gongs is not just about hitting them.
Each mallet brings a different tone, each gong contains infinite sound potential and space is as important as the sounds themselves.
Next Sunday the opportunity to hear three players with all their experience and their different instruments is a unique opportunity to hear an alchemy of sound apart from the deep medicine a longer session yields
