Fort-4-Youth Foundation exists to promote culturally sensitive, person-centred mental health support for asylum seekers and refugees aged 16-24 in Kent by providing a safe space that fosters connection and reduces isolation. This aim reflects our commitment to addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by young people navigating the asylum process, often in unfamiliar environments. To provide a safe and welcoming environment where asylum seekers and refugees aged 16-24 in Kent can access culturally appropriate mental health support. To offer culturally sensitive, person-centred counselling, workshops, and peer-support programmes tailored to their unique needs. To organise cultural awareness-raising events that improve understanding and integration for both service users and local communities. To collaborate with local service providers, enhancing access to holistic support networks for young asylum seekers and refugees.
