Today as Sir David Attenborough celebrates his 100th birthday, we are reminded why outdoor play and exploration matter so much. At Holiday Club our children embrace every kind of weather - Rain, wind, mud, and sunshine, building confidence, curiosity, and a love for the natural world around them!

As early years practitioners, David Attenborough continues to inspire us to nurture that same appreciation and respect for nature in the children we care for every day, helping to raise a generation that values and protects the world around them 🥰

A lovely setup for a 2nd Birthday Party 💕

Each play area was thoughtfully themed around the birthday girl’s favourite stories, creating a magical space full of imagination and play. From soft play to sensory discovery areas, including rice exploration, sand, and playdough 🥰

It’s safe to say our Paint Parties did not disappoint🥳🎨

A day full of colour, movement and curiosity ✨ Little ones explored the paint using their whole bodies, squishing, splashing, and creating freely while making beautiful marks on their canvas keepsakes 🥰

What a beautiful day at our Holiday Club Wellness Retreat 🌿✨

We started the morning with some calming crafts, giving everyone a chance to relax, get creative, and ease into the day. Then it was time to head outdoors for a very special yoga session with Bryoni from Little Lotus Yoga 🧘‍♀️

Bryoni took us on a magical jungle adventure filled with yoga, breathing exercises, and plenty of zen moments — the perfect way to connect with nature and unwind.

To round off the day, we enjoyed some free play followed by lots of laughter with our parachute games — such a fun and uplifting way to finish! 🌈

This is your sign to get your baby a foil blanket ✨

One of Sarah’s favourite Baby Club resources 🥰 These blankets are brilliant for sensory play – the shine, the texture, and that crinkly sound all really capture babies’ attention!

At Baby Club, babies explore them freely. Some love the noise, some are fascinated by the reflections, and some just enjoy kicking and waving their arms to make it crinkle.

Alongside all the fun, here are just a few of the things your baby is learning:
• exploring their senses (touch, sound, sight)
• building motor skills (reaching, grabbing, kicking)
• strengthening muscles during tummy time
• understanding cause and effect (move = sound)
• growing confidence through their own discoveries

It’s a really simple, engaging activity you can try at home too. You can pick them up from most outdoor shops/online 💓
