Waking up at 3 or 4am with your mind racing isn’t random…

“Woman pretends to be blind for 28 years to avoid small talk…”

Extreme? Yes.
But the feeling underneath it?
Not uncommon.

Because when anxiety is high enough…
You don’t just dislike small talk —
You feel exposed, judged, and unsafe in it.

So you avoid.

Not because you’re rude.
Not because you don’t care.
But because your nervous system is trying to protect you.

And avoidance can get… creative.

- Cancelling plans
- Staying quiet in conversations
- Avoiding eye contact
- Letting others speak for you
- Or convincing yourself “this just isn’t me”

But here’s the hard truth 👇
Avoidance works short-term…
and quietly keeps anxiety alive long-term.

You don’t need to force yourself into being “confident” overnight.

I actually had to stop and think about this one…
because when I started, I didn’t know if I could do it.

4 years ago I took a leap —
from security into uncertainty
from “safe” into “what if this works?”

And honestly… it’s been one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

There have been moments of doubt, overwhelm, and “what am I doing?”
…but also moments of real connection, growth, and watching people change their lives.

💛 Sitting with people in their most vulnerable moments
💛 Helping them understand themselves in ways they never have before
💛 Watching anxiety soften, confidence grow, and hope return

That’s the bit that never gets old.

If you’d told me 4 years ago I’d be here now —

Ever had so many ideas…
but feel completely stuck at the same time?

That’s me right now.

Trying to create content.
Trying to build something meaningful.
Trying to get it right.

And instead…
I feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and honestly a bit lost in it all.

Not because I don’t know what I want to say…
but because my brain feels full.
Too many tabs open.
Too many “shoulds.”
Too much pressure to do it well.

And here’s the thing I know (and often tell my clients):

When we’re overwhelmed,
we don’t access clarity — we access survival mode.

So everything feels harder.
Decisions feel bigger.
Even simple things feel like too much.

Including asking for help.

Because even that can feel like another thing to figure out.
