If your child would like you to act on their behalf and have access to their records, please inform the surgery by completing the Surgerys' Proxy form.

You are warmly invited to Nene Valley Surgery’s Parent Support Group.

At our sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to meet a range of supportive local professionals, including:

Tina, our Social Prescriber
Sabrina from Baby Basics Northampton
Nicole from Family Hubs
Tracey from Kettering Council, who can offer guidance on local grants and support

Later in the year, we will also be joined by Louise, Patient Engagement Midwife from Kettering General Hospital, as well as representatives from Universal Credit.

We hope this group will be a valuable resource for our local community—a welcoming space to connect with other mums, share experiences, and build a supportive network.

We are currently experiencing a high number of enquiries regarding GP allocation.
Please note that until 1 April 2026, we are unable to disclose this information, as the changes have not yet taken effect.
We understand that this may be concerning for some patients. However, the relevant information will be shared once the changes are implemented.
You are welcome to contact the surgery on or after 1 April 2026 to find out who your named GP is.

We’re pleased to be launching a new Parent Support Group at Nene Valley Surgery for parents and carers of children aged 0–4 years 💚

This group will be a welcoming space to connect with other families, share experiences and access support during those early years.

To help us make the sessions engaging for little ones, we would really welcome donations of good quality toys, books and play mats suitable for ages 0–4. If you have anything you’d like to donate, these can be brought to reception at the surgery.

We’re proud to share that some of our team at Nene Valley Surgery are taking part in Pretty Muddy in support of Cancer Research UK 💚

They’ll be getting well and truly muddy to help raise funds for life-saving research through Race for Life Pretty Muddy, organised by Cancer Research UK.

Cancer touches so many families in our community, and we’re incredibly proud of our staff for stepping up to support such an important cause.

We’re so grateful to our wonderful community and Patient Participation Group (PPG) for supporting our surgery!

On 13th December, a fundraising event was held at Hermitage House to help raise funds for new surgery equipment, and thanks to the generosity of local businesses, patients, staff, and PPG members, we raised £80! 🎉
