Before we start sharing plans for the 2026 Brigstock Beer Festival, we wanted to celebrate what you helped achieve in 2025.

Thanks to your incredible support, £5,944.80 was donated back into local charities and community groups — supporting the people and projects that make Brigstock so special ❤️

Our entertainment line-up is confirmed, food trucks are booked, and we can’t wait to deliver another amazing weekend for Brigstock and the wider local community.

𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝

Do you love organisation, community events, and being part of a fantastic local team? The Brigstock Beer Festival Committee is looking for a Volunteer Secretary to help us deliver one of the village’s most loved annual events!

This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved behind the scenes, support local charities, and work with a friendly and passionate group of volunteers.

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

As Secretary, you will play a key part in keeping the festival running smoothly. Your main duties will include:

📌 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆 & 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔

Booking and arranging access to venues for committee meetings.

Taking minutes during Committee Lead meetings, noting action points, and circulating them to committee and subcommittee members.

📌 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 & 𝑨𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒏

Managing the Beer Festival WhatsApp groups and ensuring only active members remain.

Overseeing the shared drive and subfolders, ensuring access is up to date.

Maintaining the Chair and Secretary shared folder.

Monitoring the official Brigstock Beer Festival email account.

📌 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 & 𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘-𝒖𝒑

Ensuring all insurance and risk assessments are completed and in place before the festival.

Sending thank-you letters to everyone involved after the event.

📌 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑨𝑮𝑴)

Helping coordinate the AGM, including collating donation requests.

Liaising with the Treasurer to ensure charity donations are processed promptly after the AGM.

Thank you to everyone who attended our open evening. It was lovely to meet some new volunteers and hear your ideas for 2026.

A massive thank you to The Olde Three C***s for hosting this evenings meeting. Always a welcome atmosphere, a toasty fire and a fantastic choice of ales, lagers and wines. We look forward to them being more involved in next years event.

What an incredible weekend! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us – whether you came along to enjoy a pint, sample the amazing food, dance to the music, or soak up the atmosphere, you made this year’s festival truly special.

🎉 Today’s the Day – Brigstock Beer Festival is Open! 🍻

Gates swing open at 1pm and we’ve got an amazing afternoon and evening lined up for you:

🍺 Beers & Ciders – From the Village Hall bar to the Cricketers Arms on the Meadow, enjoy a brilliant selection of ales, ciders, and of course our very own Brigstock Reserve 2025.

🍔 Delicious Food – A feast of festival favourites to keep you fuelled all day long.

🎶 Entertainment – Live music and entertainment to keep the atmosphere buzzing right through to the evening.

Grab your friends, head down to the meadow, and let’s make it a festival to remember! ✨
