Music has always played a vital role in services; traditionally the service would just have hymns played by an organist. With family and friends wanting to personalise the services, this has changed to having hymns but also the deceased’s favourite songs. With the help of Wesley Media, people can also include sound clips of their loved one and their families, a family friend performing a song or even recordings like the car or motorbike of the deceased 🎼

Celebrity Funerals can vary greatly, some stars such as Aretha Franklin had a service that lasted days and was watched by millions. Princess Diana's funeral was watched by 32 million people with Elton John rewriting Candle In The Wind as his tribute.

In contrast to this, Doris Day and David Bowie didn't want a funeral service and instead Doris is buried in an unmarked grave and Bowie had a direct cremation.
