Through our Charterhouse Make-A-Wish project, and two wonderful daughters, one of our dear neighbour's wishes came true - in the form of a gentle donkey called Romeo. 🫏✨

As he ambled through, their smile lit up the room. They explained: "This is the best thing that's happened to me all year, thank you!"

Moments like these remind us all of how the simple joys can make the biggest difference whilst making connections and lasting memories to cherish. ❤️

On this momentous day recently, Barbara one of our beloved residents reached a remarkable milestone - her 100th birthday! 🥳🎂🎁

Surrounded by family, friends, and neighbours the house was filled with laughter, love and heartfelt memories. It was a day of reflection, gratitude, and pure joy as we celebrated Barbara’s century of life 🩷🎉

On a wet afternoon recently Charterhouse friends and neighbours connected socially for a trip to the Brassmills pub, they were welcomed by the warmth of the open fire where the fresh logs popped and crackled, filling the room with a comforting glow ✨

Laughter and friendly chatter mingled in the air as all enjoyed a drink and all enjoyed an afternoon catching up with each other in this warm inviting environment 🍻☺️

Neighbours embarked on another culinary adventure, making delicious quiche Lorraine from scratch. It was a wonderful afternoon of good food and company making cherished memories and connections 😀

Recently Charterhouse friends, neighbours, and family members celebrated Burns Night with a delightful surprise visit from Callum, who played traditional bagpipe music to the smiles of everyone present 😊🎶

The afternoon featured classic Burns Night fare, including haggis with home-cooked neeps and tatties, accompanied by a wee dram of whiskey. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all, creating lovely memories, with the food greatly appreciated by all 👏

Charterhouse friends and neighbours were joined by some native feathery friends from Wrens Birds of Prey with Jenny. 🦅

This was a delightful afternoon with great connections with nature that is seldom seen up close and with a very warmly welcomed personal experience.

There were smiles and a keen interest in this wonderful experience, the smiles and intrigue said it all. 😀

Charterhouse friends and neighbours warmly welcomed Bath College beauty students, who generously gave up their time over the festive period to offer free beauty treatments. The day was filled with warm smiles, laughter, and wonderful connections shared by all.

Through Charterhouse Make-A- Wish-Project we were able to support Barry to attend his granddaughter’s graduation from university at the Bristol Beacon. This meant so much and very close to Barrys heart, on the day
Barry was able to make wonderful memories with his family in celebrating this amazing achievement together.

Charterhouse had a hoot of time, when they were visited by Wrens Birds of Prey with Jenny.
Friends and neighbours of Charterhouse were delighted to connect socially for this much anticipated visit. Neighbours were filled with delight, warmth and smiles with Jenny and her beautiful native owls, especially handling and petting one of these delightful wonders of nature.

Residents of Charterhouse enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at Hollywood Bowl!! Everyone took part in a friendly game of bowling, where the spirit of competition was light-hearted and full of laughter.
Drinks flowed, snack were enjoyed with smiles all round. It was a fun and memorable afternoon shared with friends and neighbours.
