Rest is not determined by how hard you've worked.

Rest is a necessary part of looking after your health regardless of how productive you've been.

I used to believe that I had to achieve x, y and z before I could "chill".

Research shows that rest is essential for our wellbeing, our focus and our energy. The more rest you take, the more you'll be able to show up as the best version of yourself in all areas of your life.

Going back to work tomorrow fills me with so much excitement!

I've been signed off sick due to my health (which I'm still undergoing a lot of tests) but I'm feeling much better than I was in November.

I'm so looking forward to catching up with my work pals and hearing what the kids have been up to.

With this in mind and not being ๐Ÿ’ฏ, I know I'm going to have to go back to work with a different mindset.

A mindset of love, kindness and compassion for myself.

Because I might not be able to do what I used to anymore without it impacting upon my health. And I realise that this is going to take time to get my head around.

I know there will be days when I push myself a little too far and have to deal with the consequences.

These will be my new boundaries on what I can and can't do until we get to the bottom of what's going on.

This is my next step in looking after my wellbeing ๐Ÿ’—

I have a b12 deficiency, can you help me?

The last few months have been a massive struggle for me, physically and mentally and I'm relieved to finally have an answer as to why I've felt so s**t!

Teachers with a b12 deficiency, how do you cope?

Currently I feel like I work and then I sleep the rest of the time. Or if I do something outside of work I'm so exhausted at school. I'm constantly getting ill. And it's wearing me down as I feel like my life has come to a stop.

Any advice and support will be massively appreciated ๐Ÿ™

Starting in October, over in my Facebook group, we will be doing some live journaling to guide you in taking ownership of your wellbeing.

Journaling can be hard when you've never done it before.

I remember thinking, am I doing this right? How is this helping me? What's the point of doing this?

I was on and off with it for months before it became a staple part of my morning routine and it's the first thing I turn to when I face difficulties in my life.

It gives me the space to process emotions, reveal hidden thoughts and beliefs and just get s**t out of my system!

After a few years of journaling, I've witnessed the benefits of it and I want you to experience it too.
