You’ll find all your favourite Surya Luna goodies tomorrow at the Handmade in Ayr Market at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway. My gorgeous daughter Ellie will be looking after the stall (so go say hi and keep her busy with plenty of chatter 🥰).

As for me, I’m off on a little musical adventure this weekend – heading to Floors Castle in Kelso tonight to see one of my absolute favourite bands, Beluga Lagoon. 🎶 If you’ve never heard them before, and you love Scottish music with a lively beat and a quirky twist, I highly recommend giving them a listen!

🚨 Alert: Arran has officially taken over the house! 🚨

Back home after two days of babysitting my gorgeous grandson, and wow… nothing is safe. He’s pulling himself up, edging along furniture like a tiny explorer, and eating his parents out of house and home. I may have survived, but the furniture and plants? Not so much. 😅

Tomorrow, it’s back to the soap kitchen for me - web orders, shop orders, admin… the usual chaos. But for now, I’m recovering from my midweek moonlighting as Aaron’s humble sidekick. 🌿🧼 xXx

Made it home just after 9 o’clock last night after another fabulous day at the beautiful Ellon Castle Gardens with Exclusively Highlands . My trusty co-pilot got me back in one piece (honestly, I think he deserves a medal for patience after listening to me natter all the way home).

And what was waiting for me when I got in? My long-lost market box! Yes, the one I knew existed but couldn’t, for the life of me, remember where I’d stashed it. Turns out it wasn’t lost at all… just very good at hide-and-seek. Safe to say, it’s been found, dusted off, and will definitely be coming with me to my next market. No more sneaky disappearing acts from you, box!

Today I’ve been straight back into the workshop, packaging up all your lovely weekend orders (they’re now on their merry way to you 📦✨) and whipping up more shower steamers after they proved very popular. Tomorrow it’s body butters and shower whips on the agenda – because apparently, I don’t do quiet Mondays.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by my stall today at the Exclusively Highlands market in the beautiful Ellon Castle Gardens 🌿✨

What a phenomenal day! The sun was shining, the market was buzzing, and I had the best time chatting with you all. I truly hope you enjoy your Surya Luna goodies as much as I enjoyed creating them 🫧💚

Right now, I’m back in my hotel room with my feet up, giving them a well-deserved treat with my peppermint & eucalyptus foot balm 🦶💨 (pure bliss!) and recharging with a good cup of tea.

🚨 Travel Tip from your friendly neighbourhood soap lady 🚨

When packing for a market trip, do NOT – I repeat, do NOT – decant your toothpaste and your body butter into identical little travel pots.

First thing in the morning, bleary-eyed and running late, there’s far too much scope for… shall we say… creative cross-purposing.

On the plus side:
🦷 My teeth are now luxuriously moisturised.
🦵 My legs smell delightfully minty fresh.

Not quite the spa experience I was aiming for, but hey – I’m nothing if not versatile! 😅✨xXx

That’s me up in beautiful Ellon, all set up at the utterly stunning Ellon Castle Gardens with Exclusively Highlands for the weekend 🌿✨ The stall is looking gorgeous, the flowers are blooming, and I’m now tucked up in my hotel with my feet up, a lovely cup of tea in hand, and a whole evening ahead to properly chill.

Only minor hiccup… I somehow managed to forget an entire box of stock. So, if you were planning on stocking up on Lip Glams this weekend – you might need to hold that thought until next time 🙈💄

The good news? The forecast is looking very kind indeed – warm, dry, and a sprinkling of sunshine (please don’t jinx it! 🤞). I can’t wait to see all your lovely faces this Saturday and Sunday. If you’re in the area, come and soak up the gardens, the atmosphere, and maybe a few soapy treats while you’re here. xXx

Two days of wrangling one very hot and sticky small boy… and honestly, I was no better myself. 🥵 After all this gorgeous warm weather, we were both in need of a serious cool-down.

Arran’s remedy? A luxurious bubble bath with enough bubbles to sink a small ship. 🛁
My remedy? A big, blissful slather of Aqua Lumé Aloe Gel Serum on my sun-warmed face. 🌿✨

It’s like giving your skin a chilled glass of cucumber water – instantly soothing, cooling, and making you feel vaguely like a pampered spa goddess (even if your reality is rescuing Lego from bathwater).
