☀️ Bank holiday bliss on the Clyde coast ☀️

Today’s soap kitchen was temporarily swapped for sunshine, salty sea air, and a wonderfully relaxing little adventure with my lovely friend Naomi. 💛

With the North Ayrshire sunshine putting on quite the performance today, we decided it was far too glorious to stay indoors, so off we went to try the open-air pool down at Gourock. And yes… it’s heated! There’s something delightfully surreal about bobbing about in warm water while gazing out towards the Clyde, watching the world drift by at a gentler pace. 🌊

After our swim, we wandered off in search of lunch and found one of the loveliest little artisan cafés for a bite to eat and a good catch-up. Then came a stroll along the front, stopping every few minutes to admire the tiny white sailboats dancing up and down the water like little scraps of paper caught by the breeze. ⛵

A proper deep exhale of a day before it’s back to the soap kitchen tomorrow and back to whipping, pouring, blending and creating your Surya Luna goodies once again. 🧼✨

Sunshine, skincare, and lovely conversations… what more could I ask for? ☀️💚

A huge thank you to everybody who came along to see me at Johnstone Town Hall yesterday. It was such a lovely day, and I always enjoy chatting with you about all things natural skincare, self-care, and your favourite Surya Luna goodies. I truly hope you love using your purchases as much as I loved making them for you. 🌿✨

Today, I’ve swapped market stalls for grandma duties and spent some precious time with this cheeky chappy, my grandson Arran 🥰 We’ve been making the most of the sunshine with swings, splashing about at the water table, and plenty of giggles along the way.

✨ From festival buzz to sea-salt serenity… what a weekend it’s been! ✨

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who popped by my stall yesterday at the Edinburgh Vegan Festival. 💛 As always, it was so lovely meeting you all, chatting about natural skincare, ingredients, self-care rituals, and hearing your stories too. I truly hope you love your Surya Luna goodies as much as I loved making them for you.

After a wonderfully busy day yesterday, today has been all about slowing the pace right down. I ventured back to beautiful Largs on the Clyde coast this morning for another sauna (thank you Bide Sauna) and a dook in the sea. 🌊🔥 There’s something incredibly restorative about warming up in a hot sauna, plunging into the icy Clyde waters, and then settling in for a good old blether over coffee afterwards with lovely company.

It felt like the perfect reset before heading back into the soap kitchen tomorrow… where I’ll be working on something VERY special behind the scenes. 👀

🌿 Edinburgh, we’re ready for you! ✨

Surya Luna Naturals is all set up and looking lovely at the Edinburgh Vegan Festival today at Edinburgh College, Granton Campus 🌙🧴

We’re here from 10.30am until 4.30pm with all your favourite natural skincare goodies, handmade soaps, body butters, bath treats and plenty of gorgeous self-care treasures to sniff, sample and enjoy.
