This Saturday I’ll be at a brand new market in a brand new location – the The Self Care Collective Market at Lanark Agricultural Centre 🌿💚

This gorgeous event is all about health, wellbeing, and a little bit of self-love. Alongside browsing lots of beautiful stalls (including mine, of course!), you’ll also find a wonderful range of therapists offering all kinds of pampering treatments.

✨Crystal lovers, prepare to swoon…✨

I have to give the biggest shout-out to the amazingly talented Laura over at Tinkerbird designs . I’ve always had a soft spot for Botswana agate (okay, let’s be real… I have a soft spot for all crystals 😅), and when I spotted this beauty in Australia, I just had to bring it home. After a little world tour (Australia ➡️ Scotland ➡️ Tinkerbird HQ), Laura worked her magic — and wow, just look at what she’s created! 😍

The colours shift with the light, the banding changes like mood stripes, and honestly, I can’t stop staring at it. It’s basically the crystal equivalent of having a handbag that goes with every outfit. I’ll pop a wee video in the comments to let you see it in motion.

🎥✨ If only packing soap boxes were this quick in real life!

I’ve been a busy bee in the soap kitchen again today 🐝🧼 — lots of soap making and plenty of Christmas prep happening already. This afternoon was all about making up some of my Caledonia soap selection boxes, ready to head out to a few of my lovely stockists at the start of October.

In real time, these beauties take me much longer than this time-lapse would have you believe… but wouldn’t it be wonderful if life came with a fast-forward button? 🎁😂 xXx

To everyone who stopped by my stall at Linlithgow on Friday or Saturday, and to those who popped along to see my daughter Ellie at the Craft & Flea at The Briggait in Glasgow — thank you so much! 💛 Your support means the world, and I absolutely loved all the lovely chats about natural skincare.

It’s another whirlwind week in the soap kitchen 🧼✨ — there’s lots (and lots!) of soaping happening, plus all the market boxes are being repacked and readied for this coming Saturday. And here’s a little teaser… 👀 it’s my very first time at a brand-new venue in a brand-new town for me! I can’t wait to share more with you later this week. 🌿 xXx

✨ Peace, love, and… soap? ✨

It’s been full-on hippie heaven in the soap kitchen this morning while I’ve been making more of your beloved Green Goddess Soap 🌿 With her rich, earthy blend of patchouli, rose geranium, vetiver, and clary sage, the whole place is smelling like the 70s came back for a visit (all that’s missing is a tie-dye apron and a tambourine!).

Now that the groovy vibes are sorted, I’m switching gears to finish off my prep for the Linlithgow Market with Art of Morrow tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Can’t wait to share some seriously good soap (and maybe a few hippie vibes) with you all there. ✌️🧼💚 xXx

✨ Today has been an epic day in the soap kitchen! ✨

It all kicked off at 4.30am (yes… really 😅) with me wrapping up the two batches of shower steamers I made the other day. That was swiftly followed by lots and lots (and lots and lots!) of soap making, with a little nail & cuticle balm making thrown in for good measure. 🧼💨💅

The fresh stock has already headed off with my daughter Ellie for the Craft & Flea in Glasgow this Saturday at The Briggait, while my boxes are all packed and ready to roll for the Linlithgow Market tomorrow evening (4–9pm) and again on Saturday (12–6pm).

Now, I think I’ve earned the right to put my feet up and enjoy a well-deserved cuppa ☕💛xXx

🐷 How cute are these little piggy soaps?! 🐷

I’ve just got my hands on a brand new soap mold and couldn’t resist trying it out. Now I’ve got a whole herd of happy little piggies heading off to the Curing Racks (yes, that’s their spa break before they’re ready for their forever homes 🛁).

There will be lots more of these cuties trotting along soon, and they’ll be squealing their way onto the website next month. 🐽✨

✨ Happy day in the soap kitchen today ✨

I’ve been busy making more of your favourite Happy Shower Steamers – and yes, they smell just as uplifting and refreshing as their name suggests! 🌿🍋

This gorgeous blend of lemongrass, lemon verbena, and menthol essential oils is the perfect morning pick-me-up. If you’ve never tried shower steamers before, think of them as an aromatherapy experience for the shower. Simply pop one on the shower floor (off to the side so it’s not in the direct water flow), and as it gets splashed, it releases all those beautiful essential oils into the steam.

💛 It’s like a little spa moment at home – the perfect touch of indulgence for your everyday shower.

💚 A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by my stall at Inveraray Castle this weekend! 💚

It was such a joy to meet you all, chat about all things skincare, and share my soaps with you. I’m especially grateful to those of you who braved what can only be described as a very soggy weekend to come out and support local makers - you’re absolute stars. 🌧️⭐

I’m now back home in the soap kitchen, gradually trying to dry everything out (stall included!) and already busy packing for not one, not two, but three market days next weekend.

And in case you’re wondering how I’m managing to squeeze three days into two… the answer is teamwork! My lovely daughter Ellie will be representing Surya Luna Naturals at the Craft & Flea in The Briggait, Glasgow on Saturday, while I’ll be in Linlithgow with Art of Morrow at the Lowport Centre market on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

So hopefully, whether you’re Glasgow-based or West Lothian way, you might be able to catch us at one of these markets. We’d love to see you! ✨xXx

There are some mornings that just take your breath away… and today in Inveraray is one of them. ✨

The rain has cleared, the mist is resting gently over the hills, and Loch Fyne is like a sheet of glass - so calm it almost feels like time has paused. 🌊

We’re here for day two of the Exclusively Highlands market at Inveraray Castle, and as I set up my stall, I couldn’t help but glance over at the harbour. Sitting there is the boat that inspired a certain Scottish TV show from years gone by (probably showing my age here, but who remembers it? 😉).

Moments like this remind me why I love travelling to markets — it’s not just about the soaps (though I promise I’ve brought plenty of those!), it’s about the places, the stories, and the little pockets of magic you find along the way. 💚

If you’re nearby, it’s the perfect day for a wander — the castle, the loch, and a market full of handmade treasures are waiting for you. xXx
