I am into the woo - and I’m not shy about that.
But I also know a lot of people aren’t… and that’s completely fine.

At its core, Reiki is about energy.
We all carry it. We all block it. Stress, overwhelm, emotional stuff and sheer exhaustion can all cause things to feel stuck.

Reiki works by helping to clear and rebalance that energy - which in very real, physical terms can help your nervous system calm down, your body soften and your mind slow a bit.

You don’t need to understand it.
You don’t need to label it.
You don’t need to believe in anything specific.

I don’t really have a lesson or a big fancy bow to tie this up with. Quite simply 2025 was a lot!

It was a huge year for me and I feel like I never stopped. My first full year in business and I’ve loved every minute but I’ve also been running on empty a good few times. It’s showed me where I need more space. Space for me & the kids and the type of space that I want to hold for the women who come to me.

I know exactly what it feels like to be carrying too much and not knowing how to slow down or when you’re going to break and that’s part of what’s driving my alignment for 2026. You don’t need to come to me a polished version of yourself. That’s not what we do here…

I want nothing more for the women I treat than what I’d want for myself or any of the amazing women in my life…somewhere to Slow. Down. Time to let go and let someone else take the reins for a bit.

Trust me, I see you. I am you. And I know how precious that time is to you and what you’ve sacrificed to be allow yourself some “me time”.

2026 feels quieter already. And that feels right. The focus is on nervous system regulation and getting us all out of that loop that survival mode often has us stuck in. I actually can’t wait!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

Wow this year’s went so fast. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come this year and very grateful to every single person who’s liked, shared, followed or experienced a treatment with me 🫶🏻

Hope you all have an amazing time with family, friends and those who mean the most to you. I’m looking forward to seeing what 2026 brings.

I have some goals to smash but looking ahead to a calmer, more aligned version of The Wellness Code next year as I’ve been so busy this year I’ve barely stopped to catch my breath so looking forward to spending my Christmas & New Year chilling in my jammies, enjoying all the festive food & drinks and squeezing in some partying with my pals too 💃🏻 🥂

You can’t “push through” forever — even the strongest woman needs a reset.
And honestly? Your nervous system has been dropping hints for weeks.

The tight jaw.
The tired-but-wired nights.
The feeling like you’re holding your breath and just hoping nobody adds one more thing to your plate.

Sometimes clients arrive for MLD carrying more tension than they realise — especially through the diaphragm, rib cage and upper abdomen.

When the nervous system has been in fight-or-flight for a while, even the gentlest touch can create big shifts.
And that’s not a bad thing — it simply means your body is tired… and finally responding.

After MLD, especially if you’re stressed, anxious or training hard, you might notice a stitch-like feeling, trapped wind sensations or a bit of tightness around the diaphragm.
This usually settles quickly — and it’s just your body adjusting as things release.
