I’m off out today to meet some of my favourite people for a long overdue catch up 🤍
There’s always plenty of laughs, stories, and usually a glass (or two) of wine involved 🍷

But honestly — these kinds of days feel like medicine to me. They fill my cup in the same way a ritual or treatment does. They remind me how healing it is to just connect, laugh until your cheeks hurt, and be fully present.

Because wellness isn’t always quiet or zen. Sometimes it’s a messy table, loud laughter, and the people who make your soul feel lighter ✨

Not every step in your healing journey has to be deep, spiritual or life-changing.

Sometimes it’s just the everyday stuff that keeps you going:

☕️ coffee in peace
💅 fresh nails that make you feel human again
🐾 bedtime cuddles with the dog
🏋️‍♀️ showing up to the gym even when you cba
😴 actually getting enough sleep

That is healing too. It’s not always about rituals, journaling, or big breakthroughs — sometimes it’s just about building little habits that keep your mind, body and nervous system steady.

✨ Healing isn’t linear. Sometimes it’s therapy. Sometimes it’s a latte. Both count.

❗️Walking away when your whole body wants to stay.

It’s about knowing when to stop, breathe, and let your nervous system exhale.

That’s not weakness. That’s wisdom.

If you’ve been running on empty lately (physically, mentally, or just from life being a lot), this is your reminder: rest is not indulgent. It’s necessary.

Full honesty — this feedback came from my mum. And let’s be real… she’s hardly going to give me a bad review 😅

But what surprised me was how deeply she felt the Golden Hour Ritual.

She was the first person to try it out at the weekend and she said the mix of the visualisation, autumn scents, calming music, the massage itself, and even the tea at the end helped her fully relax into it — in her words, it felt spiritual.

She even pictured walking her old dog, Olly, in the park surrounded by leaves, and felt the presence of my stepdad and my gran & papa with her 🥹 She left cocooned, lighter, and said she didn’t want it to end.

Nah. Healing is knowing your worth, holding your boundaries, and realising your peace is priceless.

You can be kind AND not take crap.
You can be grounded AND say no.
You can be compassionate AND protect your energy.

Rest isn’t a luxury. It’s a power move.
