Struggling with a sore or unstable ankle? 🩹

We’ve been seeing a lot of ankle injuries in clinic recently so here are 3 of our favourite exercises to help strengthen those ankles:

1️⃣ Arch Holds - 3x20 second holds.
Place two plates or books of the same height on the floor. Place your heel on one and the balls of your feet on the other leaving your arch unsupported. Then stand on one leg.

2️⃣ Towel Grabs - 3x12 - place a towel, t-shirt or anything soft and light on the floor. Place your foot on top and use your toes to scrunch the towel.

3️⃣ Clock Faces - x3 - stand on one leg, this is the centre of the ‘clock’. Then use your other leg to tap at all the points around the clock.

Give these a try! Remember, if you have sustained an injury it is always advisable to seek professional advice before starting any rehab programme, so book in!
