Namaste, this page is for anyone interested in yoga and reiki healing. I offer yoga with sound baths at Barton Bendish Village Hall in Norfolk. My yoga is for all levels from absolute beginners through to advanced, so please do not feel afraid to come if you have never tried yoga before, I really do work right from the very beginning, giving alternative moves for more experienced yogis. My philo
sophy is as long as you can breathe then you can do yoga so please don't be afraid to come along! I mix a combination of ashtanga, hatha, yin and kundalini style practices. I am a traditionally trained vinyasa flow / ashtanga teacher. I am experienced in various types of meditation and will be using a selection of both powerful breathing techniques, mantras and chanting along with basic life coaching tips from a spiritual perspective. ABOUT TASHA -
Tasha discovered yoga in 2008 whilst training at her gym. She swiftly dropped her weight training, running and aerobics classes for yoga and, within a year, discovered both bikram and kundalini yoga. She began to practise daily, spending all her spare time (and money!) on various yoga and meditation workshops, as well as going overseas to several yoga retreats, and travelling Southeast Asia and India before moving on to her chosen path of teacher training which she successfully completed in India. In 2012 Tasha left her job with the NHS to become a full time yoga instructor. Up until Tasha discovered yoga she suffered from asthma and frequent colds and chest infections but within a year of practising these ailments became a thing of the past. She has not used an inhaler for four years and has helped and encouraged others to take the same path through correct training of the breathe and postures. During her role as a Medical PA in a stressful office environment for many years Tasha learned first hand how yoga and meditation, as well as the healing arts, can alleviate stress and anxiety. As well as running yoga classes, she now specialises in workshops and courses involving yoga and meditation aimed at reducing stress at home and in the work place. Tasha studied psychology at university and is now advancing her knowledge by studying yoga for the mind, and holds specialised classes aimed at helping alleviate depression and anxiety through yoga. As a Reiki Master and Metatronic Healer, Tasha has powerful healing abilities working with both humans and animals and these healing abilities shine through in her yoga teaching. After one of Tasha's classes you leave energised with the feeling of a healing session as well as being fully worked out from her increasingly well-known creative dynamic flow workouts! Her classes always end with a small sound bath and healing meditation, making the whole experience extremely creative and unique. Whilst also loving to teach yin yoga for a more relaxed and deeper practice, her thorough teacher training in ashtanga yoga has left her with a great eye for detail in correcting students' alignment and foundation work. Her training has also given her a huge insight into the power of the breathe and she has noticed that by teaching her students specific breathing techniques they have the power to change not just their minds and emotions but also their lives. She believes we all can live pain free lives if we learn to listen to our bodies and our hearts. All her classes are powerfully thought provoking and inspiring. Tasha also currently teaches group classes in Wood Green, North London on a Friday evening.
