Hi all. So sorry I've been so quiet. Life has been very hectic lately and covid and home educating my girls has meant I had to take a break for a while.
However I'm hoping to start running some workshops again soon and was hoping to do some Parenting Education Workshops and maybe a course with a mix of things in.
Let me know if there's anything you'd like support with and what kind of workshops you'd like to see.
I'm thinking a baby led weaning workshop, Toddler Behaviour workshop and a sleep workshop? But let me know your thoughts.

Can you help us?...

Hi everyone, we are looking for some parent volunteers to help us each week.

Going forward we would like to evolve the group slightly. We would like to try introducing circle time at the end of the session doing story time or song time to help support the children's speech and language development, which Roma is currently doing some training in.

One of the group leaders or volunteers would run this in circle time at the end whilst the others put the equipment away so we need some more hands who can help us, particularly with packing away at the end.
We are also applying for funding to be able to provide a fruit based snack for each child and will hopefully be getting some new toys and replacing some of our old bits.

Everyone is usually super helpful but we'd like to have some official volunteers who could help out with setting up etc and support when group leaders are away. We are hoping to invest in some official lanyards for this!
You'd be able to attend free of charge of course and have access to our annual meetings and if you wish to in future, be named as an official committee member and become another group leader and help us with future decision making for the group. This is optional though and casual parent volunteer is all we really need to begin with, with no commitment to anything more.
