And we’re back!

What a lovely start to 'Together in nature' this morning. The garden was muddy, but our indoor setup and outdoor exploration balanced perfectly.

Started a new piece of art with some green creativity, sipped tea, shared stories, and made plans for spring.

Always leaves us feeling hopeful. Thanks guys!

See you next week!

Its February !!

That means our group sessions are finally coming back after what feels like a long cold winter of hibernation !

As you will see our new group name is 'Together in Nature'. We hope you like it. This felt more fitting than Tree Babies & Tots, particularly as you know our focus is about you, the grown ups.

Sessions will be held at the museum garden as always and we are thankful to still be able to offer this completely free of charge. You will see however that we sometimes have a donation box out and you are welcome to drop any change in there if you choose but there is absolutely no obligation.

These sessions are safe, unstructured, nature based and all about supporting you and your mental health and wellbeing. There is absolutely no pressure, just a warm welcome, a brew, and a space to be you. We look forward to seeing faces old and new ... get me rhyming !

See you at the end of the month !!

I wonder if the garden will look like this for our first Together in Nature session on Friday ?

Together in Nature (formerly Tree Babies & Tots) is a relaxed, friendly wellbeing session for parents and carers with babies and young children.

We meet in the lovely garden behind the Streetlife Museum and the Wilberforce House Museum in Hull — a calm, green space where you can slow down, get some fresh air, and take a breather.

Having a baby changes everything, and some days can feel overwhelming. Together in Nature is simply a space for you to come as you are. There’s no structure and no pressure — just turn up we'll be there 10am –11am. We know that sometimes just getting out of the house is a win!

You’ll be welcomed with a hot drink, fresh fruit and refreshments (all free), and there are natural play materials and simple activities to explore. You can chat with other parents, enjoy some quiet time with your little one, or just sit and be. Our focus is YOU as well as your child — because your wellbeing matters too.

Sessions are currently free, including all refreshments and activities. For updates and more information keep an eye on our page

2 weeks today we will be back at the museum, hopefully in the garden … but if not we’ll be in the education room.

Either way, kettle will be on and we will be there to check in and see how you are all doing.

For those who are new to ‘Together in Nature’ groups, our focus is YOU, the parents and carers. We wants to make sure you’re doing ok.

The sessions are unstructured, nature based and provide you and your little ones time to slow down and reconnect.

Everyone is welcome and the sessions are absolutely free at this time. We provide drinks and fresh fruit for you to enjoy. Sessions start at 10.00 and end at 11.00, then many families like to take a wander around the museums which are also completely free. A great way to get out. We look forward to seeing faces old and new …
