HASP would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who kindly donated a gift to our Mission Christmas collection with Dr Raut Partnership. Your donations mean that hundreds of children across our region in poverty will wake up on Christmas morning with a present waiting for them.

There were some gifts that we unfortunately, could not donate e.g. chocolate or second hand items. Please rest assured that these have been donated to a charity shop or the Hull Food Bank.

Thanks again for helping us spread a little Christmas cheer to those who need it most!

Thank you so much to everyone who has very kindly donated to our Cash4Kids collection again this year!

There's still plenty of time to donate a gift to your surgery's reception before our closing date of 6pm on Friday 12th December.

We have been in touch with those at Mission Christmas and they've told us that they're really short on gifts for those aged 15-18 and below are some suggestions of what can be donated for teenagers.

We'd be so grateful if you could take a look and donate something that would be appropriate for the older kids who would otherwise wake up on Christmas morning with no gift ❤

If you'd like to get involved, you can donate a gift for children ages 0-18 into your surgery reception before our closing date of Friday 12th December.

All donations will help towards ensuring that children in poverty won't wake up with nothing on Christmas morning.

Remember - all gifts must be in packaging or with tags and not gift wrapped.

The HASP Elderly Care Open Day is on Thursday 23rd October.

Please feel free to pop in to the Freedom Centre between 9am and 12pm for a blood pressure check, a 30 second atrial fibrillation test, a weight check or come along for a chat with The Carers Information Support Service, Alzheimer's Society, HASP Wellbeing Service or Age UK.

We're open to patients from across the city so you do not have to be registered with a HASP practice. We'd love to see you there 😁

There's only a couple of days left to donate to our collection for Hull Food Bank. You can bring your items into the surgery until 6pm on Friday 12th September.

Unfortunately, demand for the Foodbank remains high, with many families across the city relying on its support due to ongoing cost-of-living pressures.

We're delighted to be partnering with Hull Food Bank again this year and we'd love to better our last total of 1.2 tons of food collected, so we'd be grateful for any donations.
