Our 1st Halloween Week at Power Club 👻

What a week we’ve had 🙏🏻

50+ kids through our doors this week

All of them showing excellent attitudes - working hard, listening to our coaching & guidance whilst loving the process

My goal is to create more than just ‘better athletes’

I want all our mini athletes to thrive physically but to also build self-confidence, responsibility & a truly positive connection with the thought of self-development & progression

Hopefully this week will be one of those where they look back in the years to come and they remember Halloween Week at Power Club ⚡️

Here’s Why You Should Want to Build Your POWER ⚡️

It’s very simple – it helps keep you young, fit & injury free! 💪🏻

As we build muscle, strength & power, we are actively repelling the natural process of aging.

A lot of people go cardio-crazy when they hit 30+ and whilst I love a sensible dose of cardio, too much of it can lead to the breakdown of your muscle & gradual wear and tear of your connective tissue.

This Speeds UP the aging process. 😤
Not good.
Particularly if you want to keep training for the next 20, 30 40+ years…

Building Power ensures you hold onto Muscle and helps you build it too! 🙌🏻

The more Muscle we have, the more Metabolic we become.

This means we can consume more calories without putting on unwanted Body Fat too!

Basically, if you want to remain young, fit & functional – build POWER! ⚡️🤝

Keep It Simple, Or Suffer…

A lot of Men 30+ become desperate to rejuvenate their health and fitness

The problem is their lifestyle at 30+ is so different to what it was at 20+

This is why we keep it SIMPLE with our clients…

It’s not about making it complex “just because”

That’s not smart – and it ultimately leads to burnout bcos it’s just not a feasible way of living

Keep things simple:

Consume 35g+ Protein with each meal 🍗

Resistance Train 3-5x pw for 40 mins💪🏻

Think about how you can better your Sleep 💤

Hydrate & consume Electrolytes early doors 💧

Don’t be daft with Caffeine 😂

Stretch, Breathe, Recover… 🧘‍♂️

I’ve Noticed A Huge Shift…

10 Years Ago people wanted to Transform their Body for a Holiday…

Now, people want to Transform their Body, Wider Health & Level Up their Performance 👏🏻

This is brilliant as there is a Performance angle to the Transformation as opposed to it being purely about aesthetics.

The problem is, we’ve not quite got the balance right yet. ⚖️

Injuries are occurring left, right and centre since the boom of Hybrid style training.

Don’t forget – the session only finishes once the athlete recovers from it 🔋

A quote I noted down the other night whilst studying a Kevin Giles Interview

This resonates with me so much & I have advocated the importance of rest for YEARS.

This is why I recommend our athletes/ clients training 3-5x per week as opposed to every day nor do I set ridiculous expenditure targets for our clients

They inevitably break down. 🪫

I told him, never… Here’s why…

You see, if you’re a Man 35+ and struggling to lose Body Fat, it’s imperative you are Resistance Training

This is the message I received after Chelsea’s recent family holiday 🙌🏻

Chelsea’s results have just gone from strength to strength this year and her results are seriously impressive! 📈

I want this to be motivation for any woman out there not feeling themselves and are stuck in a rut…

Serious transformation change is just around the corner with the right direction, support and accountability…

But sadly, a lot of women accept having a body they aren’t happy with and feel having such low energy levels is normal or it’s just “their age”😤

Please know, you can have the body you want, you just need the right plan of attack.

Chelsea’s results are NOT a product of low calories, unreasonable dieting or obsessing over cardio and steps either!
