Hull Optimists Disability Swimming Club

Hull Optimists Disability Swimming Club We are a swimming club that teach adults and children using the Halliwick method. Based at Fredrick Holmes Special School, our sessions are Monday and Thursday.

Children classes 6pm-7pm and adult classes are 7pm-8pm. Cost £4 per swimmer & £1 per helper.

Tonight in our adult session was a really special as Karen who runs the session is retiring from her day job at Fredrick Homes School after 23 years!

Karen’s former work friends turned up to surprise her.

Good luck to Amy who will Karen’s successor at the School.

We are pleased to announce that Karen is still going to help out at Optimists!

All our swimmers in the kids session had a taste of the Hull Fair theme will incorporating the traditional activities such as bumper cars, carousel, ho**er duck and the Ghost train.
