Launching tomorrow! 🥳

If you're a mum (or grandma/ carer) and you fancy a bit of a natter over a hot drink and bacon sarnie, why not come along!

We're trialling a new set up especially for mums and parents/grandparents who want to socialise after the school drop off (with or without littler children).

There will be toys and colouring in for little ones. 🧸🥎🚕👶🏻

We'll be there from 9.15am with the tea brewing and bacon sizzling. See you there! 😃

I think we would all agree our birth experiences wouldn't have been the same without our midwives holding our hand on the way. To celebrate International Day of the Midwife 2026, share one thing your midwife did or said that you have never forgotten ❤️

Self-Care and Self-Neglect: Understanding Local Needs
Self-care means looking after your wellbeing in ways that feel manageable for you. This might include rest, regular meals and staying connected with others.

Sometimes life can get on top of us. Stress, low mood, health problems, or loss and trauma can make it harder to care for ourselves or our homes.

When someone is struggling to maintain their usual day-to-day care, this is sometimes called self-neglect. It can mean you struggle with day-to-day tasks like washing, eating regularly, managing medication, keeping the home safe, or asking for help.
This is common during difficult times and is not a failure or a choice.

This short anonymous survey will help local services to offer the right kind of help and support for people living in Hull.
