Whether it's to a friend, a colleague, a partner or a stranger, talking things through can help you get clarity on a situation.

People mistakenly believe that you need to have "issues" before finding someone to talk to, but the opposite is true - talking to someone can help prevent "issues".

You don't need to go through weeks or multiple sessions either; sometimes, just one conversation can be enough to help you see your next move.

📢 If you want to talk, book a free session through the link in my bio.

You don't berate your dog because the dog next door plays 'fetch' better.
🪴You don't throw out your plant because someone else's has more flowers.
We assign worth to animals and plants simply by their existence.
Outer accomplishments may be how society measures worth or status. And perfectionists often fall into this trap. Recognise that you are lovable and acceptable as you are; do not allow society to have the last word on your value as a person.

When you're feeling overwhelmed (who isn't with the news at the moment?), and you're unsure what you can do, remember that each little thing adds up.
If you feel you can't fix the world, be nice to someone, and you'll help make their world better.
Little actions compound significant changes.

Last day of the 5 day self esteem boosting challenge. Click the link in bio to join us tomorrow at Ardgillan Castle to build on this and get your confidence soaring!

📣 Mike Gayle said: “No matter how sure you are of someone's love, it's always nice to hear it.” 📣

By taking the time to affirm others, you build both their self-esteem and yours. It’s a total win-win.

What you’ll discover as you do this is that it creates a true cycle of affirmation, with you affirming others and others affirming you.

As this happens, you’ll see your self-esteem leap skyward.

Remember to affirm 3 people today. After you affirm them, come back and share in the comments how they responded.

Every person has toxic relationships in their life. People who constantly criticize. Who never stop complaining. Who only focus on the negative. Who dump all their problems on others.

This is why negative people must be, if not eliminated from your life, then drastically minimized. They will drag you down, crush your self-esteem, and leave you miserable.

It’s time for you to SURROUND yourself with people who affirm and value you. With people who love you for who YOU are.

By eliminating or reducing toxic relationships and replacing them with positive ones, you’ll see a dramatic improvement in your self-esteem.

Leave a comment below about how the positive people in your life make you feel. This will bring clarity to you.

Many people have their self-esteem sabotaged by unhealthy and negative self-talk, a soundtrack of negativity playing in your mind throughout the day.

“I should be better. I shouldn’t have done that. No one likes me. I suck at my job. I’m never going to have happiness.”

This negative self-talk sucks you down and puts you under a dark cloud. It kills your self-esteem and causes you to dislike yourself.
But here’s the thing.
The negative self-talk is all LIES! None of it is true!

And it really, really, needs to end. If you want to grow in self-esteem, your negative self-talk needs to DIE!

Today it’s time for positive self-talk to bloom in your life.

Tomorrow we’re going to be talking about negative toxic relationships and how you can surround yourself with positive people.

Until then, please share one of the negative thoughts you encountered and what you replaced it with. Write it in the comments below...

Most people have a picture in their heads of who they think they should be. I should be smarter. Better looking. Funnier.

This has to stop today. TODAY it’s time to affirm and accept who you are – NOT who you should be.

Heath L. Buckmaster said: “Often, it’s not about becoming a new person, but becoming the person you were meant to be, and already are, but don’t know how to be.”

It’s time to make peace with yourself.

Before we dive in tomorrow, share one affirmation in the comments below that REALLY helped you.

Tomorrow we’re looking at eliminating negative self talk.

Welcome to Day 1 of the Self-Esteem Challenge.

Self esteem begins with loving who you are, accepting who you are, and appreciating your strengths.
Mark Twain said: “A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.”

It doesn’t matter what others think, it matters what YOU think about you.

Write down the ten things that you love about yourself and in the comments below, please share at least ONE of those things. Come on, don’t be shy!

And stay tuned for tomorrow because we’re going to be doing some wonderful affirmations that help you accept and love yourself.
