As levels of oestrogen & progesterone fall off a cliff during our menopausal years ,we can sometimes be met by flashes of anger and irritability that take us and those around us by surprise!
Sound familiar?
During the Menopause Yoga training I did with Petra Coveney this year, I was relieved and comforted to find out that this is perfectly normal for many women, and since educating myself much more on the topic, I have made a few changes that are really helping;
* Booking less meetings in my day
* Explaining 'why' to my family rather than apologising
* Lots of walking the dog
* More down time on my own
* Yoga!! of course, yoga :-)
If you are finding yourself getting a little or a lot more irritated by stuff that didn't used to affect you, then you're not alone, it's all perfectly explainable and there's probably more you can do than you might have thought - suffering isn't inevitable!
