Strengthen & re-align your spine & hips 🦾

One of these positions is probably contributing to your back pain. Whether you are sitting for long periods, slouching to one side after a long day sitting down πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» holding your baby on one hip, driving like a G or just not taking pride in your posture. πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

Stretching is a great tool & can relieve a lot of pain but it's not the key to everything. An issue like above, you can stretch till the cows come home, it won't fix' this issue.
Movement & body awareness will with a few other components!

If you've been stretching an area of pain & it's not going away, it's NOT a flexibility issue & you need to try something else

with some dedication & patience great things will happen πŸ™πŸ»

If so, how do you sit for most of the day? Crossed legged? If so again, keep on reading.. 🌚

πŸ€” What causes lower back pain?
Not moving enough, imbalances, weaknesses are the main causes of lower back pain. Sitting with your legs crossed all day can cause your pelvis to tilt & rotate, which can lead to lower back pain & poor posture!

βœ… Try sitting with your feet flat on the floor but if you can’t, at least swap sides every now and then & make sure you’re standing up every 30mins to move & stretch to help reduce lower back & neck pain.

πŸ›Œ If you do sit with your legs crossed a lot during the then make sure you sleep with a pillow in-between your legs in bed, if you are a side sleeper. This will help level out your pelvis in the night, otherwise you’re just topping up that rotation & tilt

πŸ”₯ This can also fall under the hip & knee pain category. Test sitting differently for a few days & monitor if your pain has reduced anywhere.

πŸ’Š Pills/tablets just cover up issues, whilst attacking your insides, then your body has to recover from the medication as well as the injury πŸ†˜πŸ˜―
