I have been an Acupuncturist and Clinical Hypnotherapist since 1995, following an eighteen year career as a Registered General Nurse. I have experience in all the commonly known applications of both Acupuncture and Clinical Hypnotherapy, as well having expertise in many other health problems that these therapies can help.

I am a member of The British Acupuncture Society and The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. If you have private health insurance, it is likely that your treatment will be covered.

I have been in practice for over thirty years and there are very few health problems that l’ve not come across. I have also taught Acupuncture at a number of Universities and Colleges, both in the UK and the USA.

A common question l’m asked is “Does it hurt?”
No, rest assured, it doesn’t. This is because the needles are ultra-fine and almost as flexible as a hair. Acupuncture needles are in total contrast to the needles used for an injection which, by necessity, have to be hollow and inflexible.

It’s almost New Year’s Eve and you’re ready to stop smoking…….again.
If your determination to break the habit tends to fall by the wayside before the end of January, l can help you.
Contrary to popular beliefs, Clinical Hypnotherapy won’t magically stop you from smoking. However, if you genuinely want to stop it most certainly will.

I have been an Acupuncturist and Clinical Hypnotherapist since 1995, following an eighteen year career as a Registered General Nurse specialising in Intensive and Coronary Care. I have experience in all the commonly known applications of both Acupuncture and Clinical Hypnotherapy, as well having expertise in many other health problems these therapies can help.

I have taught Acupuncture at a number of Colleges and Universities in the UK and the USA at Batchelor and Masters level, as well as assisting students studying for PhD’s. I have been a Clinical Researcher on numerous projects, including a Europe-wide research programme conducted by York University, whereby 150,000 patients with back pain were involved.

I have particular expertise in helping cancer patients, from diagnosis onwards: Acupuncture helps to ameliorate the physical side-effects of treatment and surgery, whereas Clinical Hypnotherapy imparts strategies for coping with the frightening mental and emotional impact a cancer diagnosis brings. I was one of a multi-disciplinary team, which supported over 4,000 patients for more than twelve years at Breast Cancer Haven Leeds and have also worked with the cancer charity Penny Brohn UK.

I am a member of The British Acupuncture Society and The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
