Another fab article in the Burton bulletin this quarter. Last nights session was another success so thanks to all those that signed up and managed to attend. If you missed out for any reason I will be organising more sessions (probably this time next year now) please follow Local lifesavers page for future updates. As always any donations are greatly appreciated to Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity or my just giving which covers on going costs of the defib at emley moor https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Defibupkeep?utm_term=venERrw2D

Another fantastic session delivered tonight. Anyone that missed can rebook onto the February session whilst spaces remain. Here is the link to the just giving for consumables for the emley moor defib for those asking and any voluntary donations to Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity are gratefully received https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Defibupkeep?utm_source=WhatsApp_SFMC&utm_medium=email_social&utm_campaign=LFCCFUK_MomentDonLapse_SDEM

New pads fitted in the defibrillator at Emley Moor Club these are good to go again unless used until April 2027. They do cost £60 a pop and the battery won’t last forever and costs £200 to replace currently so please consider donating to the just giving page that will fund these ongoing costs thank you so much to everyone who’s already contributed to this public defibrillator ❤️

I have managed to secure highburton village hall for the next CPR and defibrillator training. This is a free informal session that lasts about an hour. Joanne Watson from YAS will be joining us to talk through and demonstrate CPR and defibrillator usage and you can have a go yourself at the end if you like. Thursday 23rd January 7pm there will be an article in the next Burton Bulletin and expect this to be a popular session so comment now if you’d like to be added to the guest list ❤️

It’s time to start organising the next free community CPR training session-who hasn’t managed to attend yet? Get commenting and see how far we can share this and get that guest list going. I’m looking for a venue that would be willing to host us for a couple of hours one weekday evening. So far we’ve held sessions at Kirkburton first school, emley moor wmc and think forensic in scisset. Please get in touch or tag venues that you think can help ❤️ 🙏🏻
