I’ve never shared these photos before — they’ve been hidden for years.

These pictures take me right back to being 21, holding my tiny 5lb 14oz baby. I should have been lost in the moment, but instead I was lost in my insecurities. Even just after giving birth, I was up with my makeup on, trying to cover the acne that consumed so much of my confidence. Makeup felt like a comfort blanket — one full of holes, but one I clung to anyway.

I was terrified of showing my bare skin.
Terrified of being judged.
Terrified of being seen.

I avoided the camera.
I avoided swimming with my son.
I avoided myself.

And that’s why, when I tell my patients “I hear you,” I truly mean it.
I understand the weight of living with insecurities — whether it’s acne, acne scarring, pigmentation, lines, wrinkles, or asymmetry. We all have something we zoom in on. We are all our own worst critics.

My skin has been a journey. It will never be perfect — and that’s perfectly okay. What it is now is healthy. Functional. Calm. I don’t rely on antibiotics or harsh creams anymore; instead, I focus on regenerative treatments, probiotics, and a consistent skincare routine.

And this journey is why I’m so passionate about what I do.
As an aesthetic nurse, I don’t just “treat skin” — I support people through the emotional side of it too. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space, ethical guidance, and treatment plans that are honest, realistic, and tailored to you.
