The first isle visited last week, was Westray Junior High School. The highlight of Hannah's trip was hearing the lower primary pupils speaking so passionately about healthy eating, and making such positive changes. Well done! Here is a small example of some of the work completed with the Primary pupils.

Hello! What a week it has been! The team have been very busy. We have been to Rousay Community School and Eday Primary School, as well as our mainland schools. We attended the Taking Action on Poverty event, and the Open Evening at Stromness Academy. We also attended the Su***de Prevention and Mental Health Support Services event, where we were able to hear some amazing speakers.

Does your child experience bladder or bowel issues?

The School Health Team provides a Continence Advisory Service and this service is available through a referral from your GP

Our School Nurse Thisbe has had a busy summer. Thisbe attended the School Nurse International Conference in Japan! This was a great experience which allowed great conversations and learning between a wide range of countries.
