Well I’ve been radio silent on here for weeks so thought I should at least post a little update!! It’s been a bit of a busy few weeks so only just got round to doing this 😅
I’ve had to start my maternity leave early as I’ve got some issues with my placenta which means working would put the baby at risk. I finished work and messaged all my clients when I was 28 weeks (5 weeks ago) which was actually really hard to do - I cried a lot when I was sending those messages 😭😂
We were hoping I would be able to then stay at home and rest until I had the baby - but we then found out that they would be admitting me into hospital to monitor me & baby until they decide to deliver baby via c-section.
*Cue Alice running round like a headless chicken trying to sort everything out at home and for the baby before I go into hospital* 😂
So I’ve been in hospital for a week now, got another couple of weeks to go, they’re planning on delivering baby at some point in the first few weeks of May. So we’ll end up spending some more time in hospital with baby in neonatal just for them to get stronger and get any help they might need. But baby is growing beautifully so hopefully we won’t need to stay in for long! 🥰
I’m being sooooo well looked after in hospital (the NHS is amazing🤩) and been keeping very busy with plenty of visitors!
So bit of a wild ride!! (this baby better be cute after all this 😂). Very thankful for all my messages of love and support. Can’t wait to show you all the little squish 👶🏻 the one that’s made you miss out on your appointments with me 😂 you can have stern words with them I’ll allow it 🤪
⬆️⬆️ I have no good pictures of being in hospital so here is some hospital toast that just hits different, Jacob visiting me (and falling asleep), and some really sexy socks I have to wear 😝
