I want to show people that Ceremonies can be so much more than a formality. It doesn’t have to be ‘the part to get through’ before the real party starts at a wedding, or a process to endure at a funeral. I focus on ceremonies being truly reflective of the people involved, celebrating life through storytelling and ritual. I am a professional event manager and public speaker, so can bring all the expertise to you need to deliver your perfect event. Whether you’re having a perfectly intimate wedding for two, or a huge celebration of life for everyone you know and love, I will create a ceremony that reflects you and your style. Beautiful barns, mystical mountains, funky restaurants… you choose your perfect backdrop for a Celebrant-led ceremony. I am a big believer in going with whatever makes you feel comfortable and reflects you and your loved ones. I am based in North Yorkshire and I travel to the surrounding areas in the North East and West. My favourite ceremonies of all are those with a natural theme woven throughout. From your flowers to taking a well-timed walk in the woods, there are lots of ways you can welcome in a bit of wildness.
My favourite? Giving nature the space traditionally occupied by religion, which means the ceremony focuses on nature at its core, maybe drawing on elemental symbols, rituals or readings.
Whether you’re passionate about the outdoors and wanting your ceremony to reflect who you are, or you’re experimenting with a calmer palette, nature will always bring a sense of calm to ground you on the day.

2026 is going to be all about JOY for me. That’s my only resolution, to keep that front of mind and try to make decisions around it 🙌🏼
Have been writing some funeral tributes this week and reminded of all the ways we can practically design our life to spark joy. And it’s not always the big, exciting peak moments of life that add up to a joyful existence. It’s usually the accumulation of the little things and how we choose to live everyday, what we do to fill our time, who with and critically, the mindset we develop. So I’ll be looking for little everyday joys this year… looking for a laugh, trying to live in the moment and drinking in the good times, which will all help get through the inevitable rough patches too!
So, I’m aiming for 2026 to be my year of joy. What will it be your year of?

Celebrations of life ✨ these events focus on the personality and positive memories of your loved one. We acknowledge all the sadness and complex emotions that death brings, but we also bring joy, laughter and funny stories. Above all, we bring a sense of them. And remember… you can host a celebration of life anywhere with a landowner’s permission… so if a traditional venue doesn’t feel like the right fit, think outside the box and think about the setting that feels right for your loved one to have their final farewell 🌈

Sometimes it just feels right to celebrate quietly, with a wedding ceremony free from all the noise. Just the two of you 🤍 grab your bags and go anywhere. But I thoroughly recommend North Yorkshire.

Dreaming of an autumn wedding 🍁🧡🍂 Cosy, vibrant, warm, rustic, earthy, rich, crisp, cocooned… some of the words on the tip of my tongue when I think of this time of year. It’s a beautiful (and probably underrated?) season to get married. But with nature serving up the most gorgeous and vibey backdrops, I say yes please to more autumnal nuptials.

A truly special ceremony, which suited them down to a T. It was such an incredible honour to be your celebrant, not to mention it was so much FUN!
A summer solstice wedding was written in the stars, celebrating ancient tradition, beautiful personalities, a love of the sea, natural elements and their deep and enduring bond with each other 💚
