💬 Part 5: Is the Enjoyable Dentistry Technique Safe?

One of the most common questions we’re asked about the Enjoyable Dentistry Technique (EDT) is about safety and who it’s suitable for.

Dr Bashar explains:

✔️ Suitable for children as young as 4
✔️ No upper age limit
✔️ Extremely safe when delivered by a trained professional

There are only a small number of temporary contraindications, such as during certain stages of pregnancy or if a patient is unable to breathe comfortably through their nose.

Above all, EDT is designed to make dental care calm, comfortable and reassuring, especially for nervous patients.

If you’ve been putting off treatment due to fear or anxiety, this could change the way you feel about visiting the dentist.
