Sleep Better, Feel Better
Struggling to get a good night’s sleep? You’re not alone, especially in midlife!
Try these simple habits:
✨ Stick to a sleep routine
✨ Wind down screen-free before bed
✨ Keep your bedroom cool & dark
✨ Move your body during the day
✨ Manage stress with journaling or breathing
Better sleep = calmer hormones, more energy, steadier moods, and fewer cravings. 🌙

Body positivity over 50 looks different to what it did at 25.
And honestly? That’s not a bad thing.
It’s less about loving every inch, every day.
More about making peace with your body as it is right now.
It’s choosing clothes that fit this body and not punishing yourself for a size you wore years ago.
It’s respecting your energy levels instead of fighting them.
It’s moving because it helps your joints, your mood and your sleep and not because you’re trying to shrink yourself.
Your body has carried you through decades of life.
Hormone shifts. Stress. Loss. Joy. Seeing children grow. Holding families together.
It doesn’t need criticism, it needs care.
And no, body positivity over 50 doesn’t mean “giving up”.
It means working with your body, not against it.
So if today all you can offer is kindness and decent nourishment, that counts.
If you’re learning to listen instead of judge, that’s progress.
Your body isn’t the problem.
It never was. 💛

Being in control means that you feel able to make meaningful decisions and that nothing, within reason, has the power to overwhelm you.

I truly believe that deep down, every one of us wants to feel happier. And when we do, it doesn’t just change how we feel, it can transform our physical health as well.

For years, many of us treated looking after ourselves as something we’d do once everything else was done.
The children. The work. The ageing parents. The never-ending to-do list.
But in midlife and older our bodies gently (and sometimes not so gently) remind us that we can’t run on empty anymore.
Wellness isn’t spa days and green juices.
It’s eating properly so your energy lasts past 3pm.
It’s steady blood sugar, fewer cravings, better sleep.
It’s saying “this matters."even when life is busy.
When you look after you, everything else works better too.

Do you ever finish a meal… and barely remember eating it?
It's because you are rushing or distracted.
Mindful eating isn’t about being perfect or eating in silence.
It’s about gently coming back to your body.
The chart shows a few simple ways to start today:
When we slow down, digestion improves, portions naturally regulate and cravings ease, especially those late-afternoon or evening nibbles.
No tracking. No rules.
Just paying attention again.
If eating feels a bit chaotic right now, you’re not broken, your body is just asking to be listened to.
Save this for later, or tell me in the comments:
When do you find yourself eating on autopilot most often????
