It's my 33rd Birthday.... here are 33 lessons I've learned this year - thank you for all the kind messages 👇🏾❤️

1. Success is rarely about doing more - it’s about deleting what doesn’t matter.
2. The people you love will always be your best investment.
3. Failure isn’t the opposite of success - it’s the tuition fee.
4. Your biggest opportunities will show up dressed as problems.
5. Growth feels a lot like loss at first.
6. The first thought you have is often the truest. Trust it more.
7. Your health is the foundation under every ambition. Without it, nothing stands.
8. Anger is often just fear in disguise.
9. Discipline is easier than regret.
10. You become unstoppable the day embarrassment stops being a price you fear.
11. Most arguments are two people defending their childhood wound.
12. Confidence is just keeping promises to yourself.
13. There’s no such thing as balance - only priorities.
14. If you want to know what someone values, look at their calendar.
15. Hard conversations compound like investments. Avoiding them compounds like illness.
16. The person you marry is the most important career decision you’ll ever make.
17. Regret is always louder than rejection.
18. Don’t just chase goals. Chase environments that make those goals inevitable.
19. If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it deeply
20. The people who win are the ones who can suffer boredom.
21. Your childhood is an explanation, not a justification.
22. Most timeframes and delays people give you are fake - it's just "how it's always been done". Your job is to push on them to see if they're made of concrete or paper.
23. The most talented person rarely wins. The most consistent one does.
24. If it costs your peace, it’s too expensive.
25. Do not let the internet tell you how hard you should or shouldn't work.
26. You don’t rise to your goals. You fall to your systems.
27. Your energy introduces you before your words do. Get right with yourself.
28. Great work is just good work repeated. Be consistent, not perfect.
29. Protecting your time is the highest form of self-care and self-respect.
30. Everything is figure-out-able if you’re willing to look stupid.
31. Fear shrinks when you move toward it.
32. If you can’t change it, change how you see it.
33. Mind your own business.

My biggest goal this year is honestly to say NO to more things - to do less in all aspects of my life so that I can do a few things better, with more focus and intention rather than spreading myself too thinly across too many thing.

Which is going to ultimately let a lot of people down - but I find if you don't develop the muscle of disappointing others - you'll eventually disappoint yourself.

Depth over breadth, quality over quantity, and meaningful progress over busyness.

Thank you for all the kind messages! Here's to year 33 👊🏾❤️

This is a huge step in the right direction and the most important part is nothing is shared with the force, it has to be completely confidential to work.

📞 24/7 MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS LINE LAUNCHED FOR POLICE OFFICERS AND STAFF

Police officers and staff across Hertfordshire now have round-the-clock access to a new confidential crisis line, providing immediate support for those experiencing mental health difficulties.

Launched yesterday (21 July) by Oscar Kilo, the National Police Wellbeing Service, the Mental Health Crisis Line is designed to help anyone in policing who may be struggling with issues such as suicidal thoughts, self-harm, grief, or exposure to trauma.

The helpline is staffed by trained and qualified counsellors who have extensive experience supporting emergency service personnel. They understand the specific pressures that come with a career in policing and are equipped to deliver immediate care, emotional support and follow-up assistance where appropriate.

Confidentiality is at the heart of the service. Nothing shared with the crisis line team will be passed to the Force, managers or occupational health. It’s a safe, non-judgmental space for officers and staff to speak freely and get the help they need.

🌍 Happy International Paramedics Day! 🚑💚

Today we’re celebrating the incredible power of teamwork and community among paramedics and first responders across the globe.

This year’s theme is "Unity & Community" – because no paramedic works alone.
Thank you to all paramedics for your bravery, compassion, and the life-changing work you do every day.

This international Paramedics Day, we’re celebrating the theme of “Unity and Community.”

We’re sharing stories from some of our amazing paramedics to show how our staff help people in many ways.

David Rovardi is one of the few people in the country that work as both a registered pharmacist and a paramedic. He splits his time between clinical shifts and leading medicines management at EMAS, using his experience to make care more efficient and effective for patients and crews.

David has introduced new medicines enabling crews to treat more conditions on scene and helped to design medicine bags that better meet crews’ needs.

He said: “Being both a pharmacist and paramedic gives me a unique perspective. Small changes based on crew feedback can make a big difference – it’s all about improving what truly benefits patients.”

Highlighting the importance of working together, David added:

“Community is about supporting both our patients and the colleagues we work alongside – whether that’s your station crew, the wider regional team, or anyone across EMAS.

“When we share advice and work together, we’re able to provide the very best care.”

David’s journey also reflects the evolving opportunities within EMAS, and he encourages others to bring their unique skills to the team.

He said: “I retrained as a paramedic at 42, after years in pharmacy and Mountain Rescue.

“EMAS has been great at helping me bring both parts of my experience together, and that’s meant better care for our patients.”

On International Paramedics Day, we thank all paramedics for their hard work, teamwork, and flexibility that help provide better care for everyone – both on the frontline and beyond.

I’ve been working at an LD school in Bucks for the last 3 years and today was my last day. I’ve had the most amazing time working with such fantastic children and young people. I am very sad to be leaving. I was so touched receiving gifts today from colleagues and children. I will really miss them all ❤️
