Urban sunrise 🌅
This morning… light finding its way through the ordinary.
No big view, no perfect setting but A Perfect Setting for a new day arriving quietly.

Noticing more and more that it doesn’t have to be ideal to feel a moment of clarity.

Early spring on the West Coast
🌿🌊
A few weeks ago I was down on the beach at 7.15am for a seaweed foraging session! It was low tide with quiet air and a different pace…Seaweed, shoreline, seeing what’s already here ✨
Lovely to be guided by Wander & Wonder — a simple, beautiful way to experience something familiar with fresh eyes. Even a tasty wee seaweed pesto at the end… such a nice touch.
Noticing more and more how much the body responds to this kind of rhythm.

A Beautiful Mothers Day Blessing from John O'Donoghue
🪷💚✨
On the day when
The weight deadens
On your shoulders
And you stumble,
May the clay dance
To balance you.
And when your eyes
Freeze behind
The gray window
And the ghost of loss
Gets into you,
May a flock of colors,
Indigo, red, green
And azure blue,
Come to awaken in you
A meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays
In the curragh of thought
And a stain of ocean
Blackens beneath you,
May there come across the waters
A path of yellow moonlight
To bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life.

Goddess Parvati and Goddess Kali are two forms of the divine feminine energy known as Shakti in Hinduism. Parvati represents love, compassion, fertility, devotion, and the nurturing power of the universe. She symbolizes harmony, family, and the gentle strength that supports life and creation. Kali, on the other hand, represents fierce protection, transformation, and the destruction of evil and ignorance. Her powerful form symbolizes time, change, and the force that removes negativity to restore balance in the world. Together, Parvati and Kali show that the divine feminine contains both gentle nurturing energy and powerful transformative strength, necessary for maintaining cosmic balance. 🔱
Happy women’s day 🙏

John O'Donoghue, A Modern Day Mystic, Celtic Poet/Author and Soul Influencer, always speaks to the Heart of the Human Experience.
When someone encourages you, that person helps you over a threshold you might otherwise never have crossed on your own. There are times of great uncertainty in every life. Left alone at such a time, you feel dishevelment and confusion like gravity. When a friend comes with words of encouragement, a light and lightness visit you and you begin to find the stairs and the door out of the dark. The sense of encouragement you feel from the friend is not simply her words or gestures; it is rather her whole presence enfolding you and helping you find the concealed door. The encouraging presence manages to understand you and put herself in your shoes. There is no judgement but words of relief and release.

Hello :) I am Shinade Jayne Gribben & Welcome to Yoga8 - This is my offering of Yoga and I’ve designed it for the world we live in now!
Here the main aim is the cultivation of a ‘Yoga Mindset’ for your everyday life, out in the world beyond that amazing benefits of the stretches and shapes we make on Yoga Mat :)
Using ‘The 8 Limbs of Yoga’ as guidelines, this friendly page is here to help you use what Yoga is whether you have a regular physical posture routine or not.
A ‘Yoga Mindset’ added to another type of exercise or activity you do is so doable. Of course, using traditional Yoga Postures regularly is extremely beneficial for your overall health but not 100% necessary to have a ‘Yoga Mindset’
Truly happy you stopped by and once again, I wish you a Warm Welcome here - Please feel free to ask any questions that pop to mind either by a private message or directly on the main discussion page.
