Winter Solstice Celebration 🩵❄️

I am delighted to announce that myself, Susan Staddon and Paul Symington Paul's Yoga will joining up together again this year for a lovely morning to Celebrate the Winter Solstice 🩵🎉

We will take you through a mixture of different yoga styles, pranayama (breathing) and plenty of gentle relaxation in time for the festive period ahead 🎄✨

There will be snacks provided and plenty of time to chat and catch up 🩵🤣

This event is completely FREE we only ask for donations which are going to a local charity for those most in need throughout the Christmas period 🩵🙏🏻

It will be held at The Howard Centre, Portland Road, Kilmarnock on Sunday 21st December from 10-12pm and Everyone is welcome 🩵

This is not a painting. Nature spent centuries sculpting this giant — one branch, one ring, one season at a time. 🌳✨

Looking up from the base, this massive tree becomes a living cathedral, its canopy forming a perfect green dome against the sky.

Every twist of bark and branching limb tells a story of storms survived, summers stretched toward the sun, and decades layered into quiet strength.

A reminder that some of Earth’s greatest works take hundreds of years to create.

Yoga for Everyone 💛

We—Susan Staddon, Paul Symington, Shinade Jayne, Ulrike Graham, Ruth Kenny, and myself—have come together with one shared intention: to make yoga accessible to everyone 💛

Yoga for Everyone is a community project where each class operates on a donation basis. You are welcome to contribute whatever feels comfortable for you—whether that’s £2, £10, or anything in between. Yoga mats are available for all, so just bring yourself 💛

Each session offers a gentle blend of yoga styles, pranayama (breathwork), and calming relaxation to help you unwind. It’s a beautiful opportunity to stretch your body, soothe your mind, and connect with others in a welcoming space 💛

Classes run every Sunday from 9:45–10:45am at The Howard Centre, Portland Road, Kilmarnock, beginning November 30th.

Everyone is welcome—no experience needed 💛

A couple of days ago, I completed a powerful and grounding weekend with Judy Hirsh Sampath—founder of Yoga United, and a woman who truly understands therapeutic embodiment.

We explored what it means to meet anxiety, depression, and overwhelm through the body—not as problems to fix, but as states to feel, move with, and witness with compassion.

Judy is offering a similar workshop online in June, for anyone who feels called to go deeper.

Coming soon… I’ll be in conversation with her through West Coast OM, where we’ll explore: rest, resilience, and what it means to recover your nervous system without leaving your soul behind.

Hello :) I am Shinade Jayne Gribben & Welcome to Yoga8 - This is my offering of Yoga and I’ve designed it for the world we live in now!

Here the main aim is the cultivation of a ‘Yoga Mindset’ for your everyday life, out in the world beyond that amazing benefits of the stretches and shapes we make on Yoga Mat :)

Using ‘The 8 Limbs of Yoga’ as guidelines, this friendly page is here to help you use what Yoga is whether you have a regular physical posture routine or not.

A ‘Yoga Mindset’ added to another type of exercise or activity you do is so doable. Of course, using traditional Yoga Postures regularly is extremely beneficial for your overall health but not 100% necessary to have a ‘Yoga Mindset’
