Flat stomach in the morning…

I see this all the time in women over 40.

It’s one of the most common signs the gut and hormones are struggling during perimenopause.

Most women I work with are eating clean…
but still bloated, constipated, or running to the toilet.

Because poo problems aren’t random.

They’re usually slow motility, gut overgrowths, stress, hormones or low good gut bacteria.

Your body is telling you something.

Most women I work with have already cut gluten, dairy, carbs, sugar…

But bloating isn’t always a food problem.

It’s often because something in the gut is out of balance.

Low stomach acid.
Slow motility.
Gut overgrowths like SIBO or parasites.
Poor bile flow.
Stress shutting digestion down.

When digestion slows or bugs overgrow… food ferments → you bloat.

You’re not broken.

You just need to fix the cause.

Hormone symptoms don’t automatically mean your hormones are broken.

More often, they reflect how well your body can process, clear, and regulate signals, through detox pathways, gut function, blood sugar control, and the nervous system.

This is why so many women are labelled with a “hormone imbalance” when the real issue is clearance, not production.

When you support the system underneath, hormones often rebalance on their own.

If your gut, hormones, sleep and metabolism all feel off…
