I spent 23 years in the corporate grind.

And truthfully?

For a while I loved it — climbing the ladder, proving my worth, chasing the money.

But becoming a mum changed everything.

Suddenly, what once drove me just felt empty.

I hated the idea of selling my time, begging for holidays, and letting someone else dictate how I lived.

I thought that was just “life” and that other people were simply lucky.

Then I got sick — and that was my wake-up call.

I tore my life apart and rebuilt it piece by piece.

Not overnight, but step by step.

I realised fear is never a good enough reason to stay stuck — it’s imagined.

When you make heart-led decisions, you open the door to the life you actually want.

Yes, bills still need paying.

No, it wasn’t instant.

But the more I’ve aligned with who I really am, understood my past, used my gifts, and helped other women do the same — the more freedom, joy, and health I’ve created.

So often women are told that health is just about “calories in vs calories out.”

But here’s the truth: what you eat matters just as much as how much you eat.

Your body isn’t a calculator, it’s a system of systems — gut, hormones, metabolism, nervous system — all working (or not working) together.

And every symptom you’re feeling — bloating, fatigue, brain fog, PMS, low mood, stubborn weight gain — is your body telling you it’s missing the variety of nutrients it needs to function.

If there’s even a chance something could impact my health — or someone I care about — staying silent just isn’t an option for me.

Because what if I didn’t say anything?
What if they genuinely didn’t know?
What if everyone I learned this from had stayed quiet?

- I’d still be stuck in the nightmare of exhaustion.

- I’d still be drowning in brain fog, surviving on sugar and caffeine just to get through the day.

- I’d still be ruled by hormones and gut issues that controlled my life.

I know this post is’nt going to sit with everyone but I want to connect and help people who are on a journey, just as I was back then.

I want people to actually hear it, so they can make real changes for themselves and their families.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned on my journey of coming back to myself is how important it is to regulate my nervous system. Real restoration doesn’t happen in chaos — it happens in safety.

For a long time, I was stuck in environments where I had to walk on eggshells. Always tense, always second-guessing. And in that space, nothing moved forward. I couldn’t truly grow.

Everything began to shift when I started choosing calm over chaos and surrounding myself with people who made me feel safe in my body. That’s when I began to breathe again — deeply, fully.

These days, I feel grounded. I love making memories with my girls — laughing, being present, soaking in the peace. I’m calmer now than I’ve ever been.

From rock bottom to root cause healing — this is my story 👇

In 2021, after a lifetime of gut issues, PMS, and feeling like I was just getting by... everything fell apart.

I was exhausted by 10am, constantly bloated, had brain fog, itchy skin, weight I couldn’t shift, and emotions that overwhelmed me before every cycle.
Doctors said my labs were “fine” and offered antidepressants — but I knew this wasn’t just in my head.

So I took matters into my own hands.

I worked with practitioners, made mistakes, felt worse before I felt better…
�I used trial and error, supported my body properly, and began to study functional health so I could truly heal.

Now I guide other women to do the same — with less stress, more support, and way more clarity.
