Here’s how the process works:

✨ Consultation
We assess the lips carefully to understand the issue – whether it’s migration, uneven filler or excess volume.

✨ Patch Test
Before treatment, a patch test is essential. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme and although reactions are rare, we always test first to ensure it is safe for you.

✨ Dissolving Treatment
Small amounts of Hyaluronidase are injected into the areas containing filler. The enzyme works by breaking down the hyaluronic acid so the body can naturally absorb it.

✨ Immediate Swelling
Swelling the same day is completely normal. This is simply the body’s response to the enzyme and injections.

✨ Rapid Improvement
By the next day, swelling usually settles and the lips begin returning to their natural shape.

Dissolving is often the first step to achieving a better result, allowing the lips to reset before considering fresh, more natural placement of filler if desired.

As a nurse prescriber, patient safety and natural results are always my priority.
