Life can feel so hard, and like it’s all the time it’s hard because there are so many obstacles you have to overcome.

Why is it that all the obstacles seem to come in one go as well?

As a therapist my job isn’t to stop the obstacles coming but to help equip you with the tools, skills and confidence so that you will find a way to continue on the path that feels right for you safe in the knowledge you have someone beside you on the journey.

You might need support creating and maintaining boundaries for yourself when that someone continues to ignore your needs.

You might need tools to regulate your nervous system when you feel activated and overwhelmed.

You might need a safe, non judgemental space where your opinions matter and your thoughts and feelings are recognised and welcomed in a kind and gentle way with curiosity encouraging you to let more of you be seen and valued.

There is light at the end of the Trauma tunnel, there will always be things that could trigger you. However Therapy helps you recognise choices and be more in control.

Therapy can help you see the hope which might be hidden.

Life doesn’t have to be a continuous battle and seeking support is a sign of courage not weakness.

Hello I just wanted to share a short video of what the Towards Tranquility Therapy space looks like. We are able to support children, Teens and adults struggling and experiencing distress. We have lots therapeutic activities to meet both childrens needs and the adults inner child's needs. Is there anything you can spot that entices you to play or what could you imagine is behind the cupboards doors that would encourage your younger self to join in and have fun.

Therapy isn't all about the difficult stuff it's about recognising and enjoying the fun and light stuff too.
