It’s and this year’s theme is Alcohol and Work, a powerful reminder to reflect on how alcohol might be affecting not just our wellbeing, but also our work lives.
Whether it’s post-work drinks, using alcohol to de-stress, or the pressure to “join in,” it’s worth asking:
➡️How is alcohol showing up in our workplace culture?
➡️Are we normalising drinking to cope with stress, exhaustion or overwhelm?
While the occasional drink might feel like a way to unwind, regularly relying on alcohol can take a toll on concentration, energy levels, mood, and sleep, all of which impact our performance and wellbeing.
đź’ˇ This week is a great opportunity to start honest, supportive conversations and explore healthier coping strategies. From movement and connection, to proper rest and better stress management.
