It may have been a very rainy week, but that hasn’t stopped us from getting out and about! ☔️✨

Residents at Twyford House Care Home enjoyed the most wonderful trip to the World of Wedgwood!

Many of the residents were amazed to discover such a fascinating place right on our doorstep, and the museum’s stories and craftsmanship truly captivated everyone.

At Lovett, we know how important it is to feel part of the wider world, not apart from it. These experiences create memories, open new conversations, and keep life feeling full of adventure.

We’re really flying high at the moment, not just with our new website launch, but because last week, residents from Ruddington Manor Care Home literally were! 🚁💙

Ruddington Manor entered a competition with Myley after sharing that one of their residents had a helicopter ride on their bucket list.

What a fantastic evening we had with our residents, families, friends, and staff — coming together to celebrate Bonfire Night in true Adel Manor style! 🔥

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal spread before heading out to watch the fireworks light up the sky 🎇✨

The fun didn’t stop there — we rounded off the night with a quiz themed around Bonfire Night and Guy Fawkes, full of laughter and friendly competition! 💥

Team Adel recently came together for a wonderful community challenge, working alongside our residents to make our community boards more welcoming, creative, and inviting. 💕✨

Families were invited to choose the winners, and we’re delighted to share the results:

🥉 Collingham – 3rd place

Our families were so impressed by everyone’s hard work, creativity, and teamwork — and we couldn’t agree more! Each board reflected care, effort, and a true sense of community. 🌿💛

🧀🍷 Cheese, Wine & Quiz Night at Adel Manor! 🧠🎉

What an amazing evening we had at Adel Manor Care Centre in Leeds — a fabulous cheese and wine night paired with the Quiz of all quizzes! 🎊

Our Heads of Department got into the spirit as themed team captains, leading their tables with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of laughs. There were prizes galore, friendly competition, and a fantastic atmosphere shared by residents, families, and staff alike.

A big thank you to Team Adel for pulling together such a joyful and memorable night. Here’s to more moments like this — full of fun, laughter, and community 💙

🚂 Rain or Shine – Off We Go! 🌦️

At Adel Manor, a little weather never holds us back — especially with the fantastic support from Myley!

This week, our residents enjoyed a brilliant day out at one of Yorkshire’s finest attractions — the National Railway Museum in York. 🚆 From historic locomotives to fascinating exhibitions, there was so much to see, explore, and reminisce about.

Despite the grey skies, the day was full of smiles, laughter, and great conversation. Outings like these are such a special part of life at Adel Manor — bringing joy, connection, and meaningful experiences beyond the home. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make it a great day out. We’re already looking forward to the next trip!

💚 Brave the Shave at Adel Manor 💚

Supporting Macmillan Cancer Support ☕🎗️

A huge congratulations to our incredible team members Mel and Corina, who took on the Brave the Shave challenge — all in support of Macmillan Cancer Support! 👏✂️💪

We marked the occasion with a fantastic coffee morning, where our residents joined in the fun by enjoying delicious cakes 🍰, great company, and cheering on our brave ladies every step of the way! 🎉

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our staff, residents, and families, we’ve raised over £1,000 for cancer research and support services. 💚

What a powerful reminder of the strength of our community when we come together for a great cause.
