Amazing video that shows the results of organ donation. The strange thing being that hand and arm transplants are visible and this family member got to hold her sister’s hands again which have changed the life of another. It's the 10th December and today we opened a box containing a generous donation from one of our Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, Mr Sam Vollans. The donation has been sent to Solving Kids Cancer UK. The charity are striving for better outcomes for children and families affected by childhood cancer. They have a particular focus and expertise in the rare and complex cancer, neuroblastoma.
