Today we were proud to recognise Karla, who has received her GEM Certificate for truly going the extra mile.

Karla’s quick thinking and effective use of her life support training saved a client’s life when he began choking. She demonstrated outstanding competence, confidence, and the ability to remain calm under pressure during an emergency situation.

A really lovely day at work for Karla ❤️
She spent the morning helping clients choose presents for their families and then surprising them with an impromptu visit from their loved one. It’s moments like this that mean a lot and make life a little bit easier.

🎄✨ Earlier this month we had some very special visitors to the Horsforth office! A couple of little elves popped in to drop off the presents and winter driving packs they had helped their mummy - Rachel - prepare for our wonderful clients and carers.

We now have just a small handful of gifts left to collect. Team if you’re passing the office, please feel free to pop in and pick yours up.

Right at Home Leeds North have put together winter bags for all staff to help keep everyone safe and prepared during the colder months. Each bag includes essential items like an ice scraper, de-icer, and other winter must-haves.

One carer said “I’m totally thrilled with my bag! It’s full of useful items I never knew I needed!” Another said “Thank you for the present and especially the winter care bag, it is so kind and thoughtful of you and really makes it feel like we’re thought about and valued” Another said “they are super cute”! 🥰
At Right at Home in Horsforth we support our carers so they can support others. Thank you to all the team for the kindness they show to others. We are so blessed to know such caring individuals 🥰 x
