2016 ✨

A turning point.

Big lesson in resilience building through that year.

Wish I didn’t have to do all that, but I did!

I held a lot of shame for a long time that I dint handle it better.

I know how I did enough, that I was enough.

Grateful for that version of me, she never gave up.

Everyone’s journey is different, mine has lead me here.

So much has happened in 10 years.

Excited to see where the next 10 takes us all!

Knowing at any point, you can choose different.

Sunday celebration!

Sobriety feels easier now, but it didn’t for a long time.

I don’t talk about it often, but I’ve been reflecting a lot on the person I am now compared to who I was before this journey all started.

There was a time when a drink was how I softened the edges of being alive.
How I made the noise quieter.
How I created a little distance between myself and what I was feeling.

That worked. Until it didn’t.

I didn’t realise what it was doing at the time.

Alcohol was doing the same job my breathwork practice does now.
It was changing my state.
Slowing the alarm system.
Letting me drop out of my head and into something vaguely tolerable.

The difference is that one builds capacity and the other borrows it.

Early sobriety feels raw not because something is wrong, but because the numbness is gone. Sensations come back online. Emotions return in full force. Memories flood in. The body starts speaking again. Not gently either.

My nervous system stopped being artificially regulated and it had to learn how to do it on its own.

That is where the real work began.

Sobriety has made me more disciplined.
It’s made me more honest with myself.

I can feel when I’m overwhelmed.
I can sense when I’m needing to rest.
I can hear the quiet no in my body before I ignore it.

When you run away from yourself for as long as I did, it’s heavy to hold for a while.

But then you find new coping strategies.

For me this is my breath and the cold.

Coming back to center in new ways.

Not avoiding. Allowing and accepting it all.

Sobriety is not about never having a drink. Although I have said recently, I’ll never drink again. I don’t see the value or reward anymore.

For me, it is about not needing one to tolerate being alive.

Grateful for the life I’ve now built.
The body that I value, take care of and love.
And the self worth to never need to run from myself ever again.

Being held ✨

It is not about giving your power away.

It is trust for another to be curious and explore.

Drop in.

In these moments the work is quiet.
The breath slows.
The nervous system stops bracing for what might happen next.
Sensation is allowed to move without being pushed, fixed or managed.

This is where true regulation begins.
Not through effort, but through trust and permission.
Dropping into presence.

When someone holds space with steadiness and consent, your system learns something new.

That you can soften.
That you can feel without becoming overwhelmed.
That safety is felt from the inside.
Not found or given externally.

This is the work beneath the words.
A return to centre.
A reminder of how to hold yourself.

Grateful to share these moments with consent.

Listened a lot in 2025.

Remember your life is for you…. Not your kids, friends, parents or partner.

I’m not saying f**k everyone and be selfish.

What I’m suggesting is building a presence and grounded energy so strong that the ripple effect into those people is astoundingly profound.

The true definition of overflowing cup.

It’s not selfish when everyone wins!

What can I say?!

This year was one for the books for sure!

My first year of SPXCE as my whole sole purpose ♥️✨

Burnt all the boats and went all in!!!

Did pretty well, if I do say so myself.

I tell you what, I love you lot! I really do! You make it happen, I just have very mad ideas and try to execute them to my best ability.

Every single one of you who trusted me to hold SPXCE for you to take a breath.

To rest.
To heal.
To grow.
To connect.
To join community.
To get out of your comfort zone.
To be curious enough about who you are!
To delve so deeply you don’t realise life could feel that good.

Not posted on the grid for a long while, so let’s have a round up to ease back in.

November has truly been a major turning point of the year for me.

I removed a lot this year, gained an unbelievable amount more in the space that was created.

Life is getting really quite good.

Throughout the month in between TETHER, we are carving out time to PAUSE!

New session added to the diary!

How it works:
You either come see me and join us in the studio, or buy online to work through the practices and workbook at your own speed.

Anyone joining in person will gain access to the online offering.

Each month we focus on a theme.

Our first theme : New Beginnings

Breathwork practices to engage with deep rest.
Mindset tools to strengthen awareness and clarity.
Meditation for integration, grounding, safety and presence.

It’s structured, it’s gentle and a resource you can come back to whenever you need!

Breath | Sauna | Plunge

Majority of the time, all we need is to create enough separation from the noise to drop in.

Resting isn’t easy when life has been on on on and the body feels an uncomfortable place to pause. Easier to keep moving, busy.

When we breathe to down regulate the nervous system, we create the foundation to rest with a bit more ease.

Quietening the mind for a moment.

Grounding.
Deeply resting.

Contrast therapy (the cycling of sauna and cold plunge) mixed with breathwork creates a trifecta of benefits! But, rather than this being another wellbeing tick in the box, it can be way more than that!

With awareness and focus we can intentionally engage with a deeper level of practice.

Connecting to your bodies at every stage. With the breath you create your anchor to the body, in the heat you expand to drop into that connection and in the cold you feel through it.

All three are an opportunity to be aware of different states within the body, bringing yourself back to center in the heightened stages.

That’s where you open your window of tolerance to stress. Giving you more capacity.
