Please everyone consider doing this survey from adhd adults charity (them lovely funny people that do the podcast). They have a voice within the governments review of ADHD so the more info on the current state of ADHD in the UK, the better.

We've recently updated the website www.leedsadhd.org which now has the beginnings of an FAQ providing links to the best resources on the web for anyone needing info about adult adhd in the uk.

The events page links to a google calendar which has all our events.

Sadly, as we couldn't afford to stay with Wix we've lost the groups feature that aimed to provide an alternative to Facebook, but we're also on reddit so do head over to r/LeedsADHD because peer support only works if we all join in ❤️

Happy weekend ✨ It’s that time again! Mark your calendars because our next Leeds ADHD Group meet-up is just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to catching up with you.

📅 Date: 09/10/2023
🕕 Time: 6pm - 9pm
📍 Where: Northlight Arts Centre, 31 Potternewton Lane, LS7 3LW

🚙 There is a car park next to the building and on street parking is also available
📌 Please remember to RVSP through the group event, so we know to save you a seat

🌟 The evening kicks off with a whole hour dedicated to getting cozy, enjoying a cuppa ☕, and mingling with fellow members if you fancy it! This is your chance to connect, share stories, and make new friends who understand what you're going through.

🕖 Then, at 7pm, our meeting officially begins. It's going to be an evening filled with discussions, support, and valuable insights into living your best life with ADHD. You will have the opportunity to learn, share, and support each other - don’t worry, there will be a scheduled break.

Feel free to bring your questions, experiences & thoughts to share with us - there is no expectation of you here, if you’d prefer to sit and listen to other peoples’ stories, that’s welcome too ☺️

Just a quick reminder for this Sunday 24th September @ 12pm

So far just over £1700 has been raised in Wayne’s memory which is absolutely amazing, thank you so much!

But….we’re not stopping there 🤔😉

Wayne used to go to Commando Fit at Temple Newsam and understood the positive effects from exercising and how it helped him, plus he made some great friends. He also did a few marathons as well to help raise money for other charities so an event has been organised to continue raising awareness for Leeds ADHD Support Group which meant a lot to Wayne.

The following has been organised:

Run/Walk/Talk event Sunday 24th September at 12pm for 1hr running, walking, talking and connecting with others to raise money for Leeds ADHD Support Group (£5 minimum donation).

This is a little taster of things to come. Next year a challenge will be organised and it’s not going to be easy, just as Wayne would’ve liked it! 😂
