We recently delivered a Ki Mobility Focus CR tilt-in-space wheelchair, along with a carefully selected range of accessories to provide optimal postural support. The package included a FormAlign dynamic seating system, a dynamic footboard, and a Foot Box from Sunrise Medical.

Making deliveries to customers is most certainly one of the best parts of our jobs. It is incredibly rewarding to help make a difference to their lives. 🙂

We recently had the pleasure of delivering a Küschall Champion manual wheelchair and Jay cushion to Luke.

Say hello to Geoff, the latest addition to the Independence Mobility and Medical Hire team. Geoff joins us as a Warehouse Operative. 👋

After many years in his previous job, Geoff’s looking forward to meeting new people, taking on new challenges, and working in a new environment.

When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find Geoff under the bonnet of a classic car or out on the open road. He’s a huge classic car enthusiast, having participated in continental rallies to Italy and Gibraltar, and he's a regular attendee at car shows. His pride and joy is a Ford Mark 1 Cortina! 🚗

He also enjoys a spot of gardening to unwind and reckons you can’t beat good old fish and chips for tea.

Fun fact, back in the '80s, Geoff worked as a mechanic and serviced cars for the Leeds United team and Lord Harewood.

We’ve officially launched our new volunteering initiative, and we kicked things off with Leeds South and East Foodbank 🎉

Last week, a group from our teams across Independence Mobility and Medical Hire spent the day at Leeds South and East Foodbank marking the first of many volunteering days we’ll be participating in to support our local community.

In the lead-up to our visit, we organised a company-wide food collection, with colleagues generously donating essential items to take along on the day. 🥫

Armed with hi-vis vests, gloves and a positive attitude, the team got stuck in helping to unpack, sort, and organise food trays in their warehouse. And we’re proud to say we processed 2,280kg of stock, which equates to 5,430 meals for local people in crisis.

Leeds South and East Food Bank do vital work providing emergency food parcels and support to individuals and families facing hardship. The food bank’s incredible efforts make a real difference to those in urgent need.

Thanks for having us Leeds South and East Foodbank and for shining a light on the importance of the work you do within our local communities 🤝

This is just the beginning for us, we’re looking forward to our next volunteering day to give back and help make a positive impact.
