We recently delivered an Invacare Rea Azalea tilt-in-space wheelchair to one of our wonderful customers — and the impact was immediate. 😊

Within just 10 days of ordering, we had delivered the chair and enabled her to go outside for the first time in over two years.

Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. Helping people regain independence, confidence, and quality of life isn’t just our job — it’s what drives our passion every single day. 🩷

We had a fantastic day at the Rehabilitate Therapy Conference at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Tuesday.

It was great to see so many Occupational Therapists and Case Managers in attendance - lots of familiar faces who we’ve worked with before, as well as many new connections.

On our stand, we showcased the Ottobock Genny Zero, alongside a selection of our wheelchairs and specialist trikes for children. The Genny Zero proved especially popular, with lots of visitors taking the opportunity to give it a test drive.

A big thank you to ABI Solutions for hosting the event. The day was filled with inspiring talks, valuable discussions, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others across the rehabilitation community.

Our volunteers have been at it again!

Last week, a group of our team headed to Stanningley Park in Leeds for a day of tree planting with Leeds Parks and Countryside Service. 🌳

We lost count of exactly how many trees we planted, but the park will be a whole lot greener for it!

A huge thanks to park rangers Ben and Toby for guiding us, and keeping us fuelled with tea and biscuits. ☕🍪

Days like this are exactly what our volunteering initiative is all about. Trying new things, working together as a team, and doing something that makes a difference to our community, and the planet.

Making deliveries in the run up to Christmas is one of our favourite times of the year. It's extra-rewarding seeing the smiles on customers' faces during the festive period. 🎄

We also love being Santa's helpers, delivering shiny new trikes and colourful wheelchairs for children to enjoy on Christmas day. 🎅

With the Christmas holidays almost here, we wanted to thank everyone for the support this year. 🙏

It's been another busy but rewarding year here at Independence Mobility and we couldn't have done it without you all.

This year we've...
☑️ Carried out assessments and delivered new equipment to hundreds of customers.
☑️ Introduced a host of fantastic new products to our range.
☑️ Attended a variety of events and exhibitions, meeting lots of amazing people.
☑️ Delivered lunch & learn training sessions to many OT and clinical teams.
☑️ Continued to highlight accessible organisations through our Breaking Boundaries series of features.
☑️ Launched our new volunteering initiative, giving every team member a day each year to give their time to local charities.
☑️ Enjoyed some fun team outings, spending time together away from the office.

We look forward to working with and seeing you all again in 2026, but in the meantime, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄🎊
