May classes are now available to book!

Please be aware due to the May bank holidays the studio will be closed and therefore there are significantly less in person classes for the month. Make sure to book your spot for the in person classes especially to get your Pilates fix in for the month and avoid missing out🫶

Any questions please do drop me a message.
I look forward to seeing you in the studio or online!

Not with extra workouts.
Not with restriction.
Not with guilt.

Consistency isn’t built by overcorrecting, it’s built by what you come back to.
Sometimes that looks like a full class.
Sometimes it’s a short, gentle session.
Sometimes it’s just taking the pressure off completely.
All of it counts.

If you do feel like moving, let it be because it makes you feel better, not because you feel like you have to.

Save this for when you need the reminder and enjoy your bank holiday weekend!

Matwork doesn’t need to look impressive to be effective.
It’s often the slower, less “exciting” work that creates the biggest changes, the kind you feel in how you move, not just how you look.

Both matwork and reformer have their place.
The real benefit comes from understanding why you’re doing each, not just what looks harder.
Train with intention, not comparison 🩵

Save this for when you need a reminder.

POV: you start Pilates thinking it’s going to be easy…
No jumping.
No heavy weights.
Just controlled movement.
And then your abs start shaking, your legs feel like jelly, and suddenly you’re questioning everything 😅
But that’s the point.

Pilates challenges you in a completely different way: building strength, control, and stability that actually carries into everyday life.
And somehow… you leave feeling stronger, taller, and a little bit hooked.

Send this to someone who still thinks Pilates is easy 👀
or save it for when you need a reminder to get on the mat 🤍

Some of these might be unpopular… but they’re grounded in how the body actually works.
Pilates isn’t just stretching.
More isn’t always better.
And if you’re rushing through reps, you’re probably missing the point.
I see it all the time, people working hard but not necessarily working effectively.
The goal isn’t to feel exhausted.
It’s to move well, build strength that carries into real life, and actually understand your body.
You don’t need to earn your progress through burnout.
You need consistency, control, and good foundations.

Curious which one people disagree with the most 👀

Pilates isn’t just about what your body looks like.
It’s about how well it supports you in everyday life.
If you want to experience this for yourself, I’d love to see you in class💪

Because the truth is… they work really well together.
Weight training helps you build strength, power, and bone density.
Pilates helps you build control, stability, alignment, and body awareness.

One develops the engine.
The other improves how well the system runs.
When combined, you get:
• Stronger lifts
• Better movement quality
• Improved injury resilience
• A body that feels capable both in and outside the gym

It was never a competition 🤝
Train for strength.
Train for control.
Your body benefits from both.

Not everyone in the room arrives with the same story.

One person might be rebuilding strength after injury.
Another might be managing a stressful week at work.
Someone else might just be excited for an hour that’s theirs before a busy weekend or upcoming holiday.

Whatever you’re carrying that day, physically or mentally, there’s space for it here.
You don’t have to feel perfectly motivated.
You don’t have to feel strong or flexible enough.
Sometimes just showing up is the most important step.

Pilates meets you where you are. And more often than not, you leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to your body than when you walked in.

So if you’ve been debating whether to come to class this coming week… this is your sign 🩵

I wasn’t expecting to love Budapest this much.
The architecture.
The cafés.
The views across the Danube at sunset.
It’s one of those cities where every corner feels like you’ve stumbled into a postcard.

Places we visited:
- Chain Bridge
- Parliament Building
- Fisherman’s Bastion
- St Stephen’s Basilica
- Buda Castle
- The Church of our Lady of Buda Castle
- Vajdahunyad Castle
- Heroes Square
- Central Market

Save this for when you’re planning your next city break ✈️

You need to save this for the next time you can’t think of what to make for dinner.

Chicken sausage macaroni in under 30 minutes.
Simple ingredients.
Minimal effort.
Comfort food energy.
This one is definitely staying in the weeknight dinner rotation 🍝

Save this so you remember it next time you’re stuck for dinner ideas.

Strong women build strong communities.
One of the best parts of teaching Pilates is getting to watch women show up for themselves: sometimes for strength, sometimes for recovery, sometimes just for an hour that’s theirs.

Movement can be powerful in ways that go far beyond the physical.
It can build confidence, resilience, and trust in your own body.
So today is a celebration of women who lift each other up, support each other, and keep showing up in the studio and in life.

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍
